The Guide Marco was excellent his knowledge of the Island was superb. He explained the history of the places as we went along plenty o stops for photos, coffee, lunch etc. He also explained about the culture and overall he had a sense of humour as well. We would recommend him and the trip highly, we had a fantastic time.

Lots of panoramic views

We very much liked Santana - and the €15 lunch in the hotel was good value, but it's a shame that there isn't time to visit the open air museum nearby. We can only give this four stars as we thought there were too many panoramic stops, rather visiting the actual places you were looking at from on high.

This tour is ideal for those who want to see as much as possible of Madeiran East coast. Our guide Guma showed us a lot more places than was on tour description. He also was very polite and recommended where to eat in Santana. This company also organizes tour to the west coast, but unfortunately we didn't have time to visit it.Thank you very much, highly recommended!

Excellent tour

Tour guide spoke good English and had good knowledge about the area as he was from Santana, his name was Gama. Thankyou Gama for a lovely tour in your homeland. Only gripe would be the 1 and half hour stop for lunch. 1 hour would have been plenty a little too long not a lot to see. The rest of the tour had some spectacular breathtaking views. Would definitely recommend as we have booked tours in other countries ourselves and we always choose Viator.
