Best Food Tour in Madrid
Anonymous, May 2022
It was so such a great experience learning about wine and the food pairing. A 3 hour tour became a 4 hour tour because the group got along so well and had so much fun! I highly recommend this tour!
Perfect evening!
Anissa_A, May 2022
This tour exceeded my expectations. Pedro didn’t take us just for ‘some’ tapas, but he hand picked only the very iconic spots for a traditional sampling, all the while giving us an easy history overview and walking tour. From the creamiest croquettes of cod, excellent wines, to the the best liquid chocolate you’ll ever sample, it was so enjoyable. I really appreciate all the detail with visual illustrations to identify the types of iberico, as well as the side by side tasting so that you can truly appreciate the differences. Highly recommend Pedro’s tour!

Pedro was wonderful! We learned so much from him about the history of Madrid and the food and wine in the area. Definitely recommend!
The food of Spain and the history of Madrid tour
michael_l, Apr 2022
Pedro provided us with wonderful samplings of true Spanish food and drink. During our excursion he told us the history of the Village of Madrid. Once you experience the trip you will understand why I call it a village. If you only take one tour in Madrid, this is the one to take
Fun night

Dan was knowledgeable and informative and was able to impart the history of Spain and Madrid in some interesting stories. And the food & drink were tasty.

Amazing Tour!
Steven_J, Oct 2021
Very much enjoyed the lunch Food Tour in Madrid. Pedro led us through the “old town” of Madrid giving us both history and exposure to many food and drink items. This included the oldest restaurant in the city and those with long lines (that we didn’t have to wait in!). After two very filling stops with food and multiple drinks, we ended the tour with traditional churros and drinking chocolate…..It was Simply Devine. Highly recommend this tour!
A “must do” tour in Madrid!

Our guide, pedro was was very knowledgeable and accommodating. He show us the best places for tapas and chocolate with churros. We skipped long lines at very popular restaurants. He also added some history to the food tour and visited some famous sites. We highly recommend this tour for all ages.

A Great intro to the Tapas Scene in Madrid
William_L, Jan 2020
Great experience! It was a Sunday night and the only other couple scheduled had cancelled, so we basically had a private tour. Our guide Alfonso was extremely knowledgeable about the local food scene and the historical setting. We sampled a great selection local tapas, Jamon and other meat products, and then a variety of seafood. There was a great selection of excellent Spanish wine to go with it all, and some very good advice about wine choices. The whole thing was capped off with a visit to the famous Chocolateria San Gines for churros and hot chocolate. We had a great time chatting up Alfonso about all things spanish. None of the venues, except the Chocolateria, were touristy places. The meeting point was easy to find and only about 100' from the Opera Metro station. We highly recommend this tour.
Great First Day in Barcelona
Connor_M, Jan 2020
This was a great first day in Madrid. Ate a lot of good food and drank delicious wine! Alfonso showed us some really cool sites in Madrid I wouldn’t have been to otherwise!
Mary_C, Dec 2019
We had a great night trying four completely different tapas and some great restaurants / bars. Our host was incredibly informative and fun. He really knew his stuff and took great care of us. We were just getting over an illness and were worried it would be a long walk, but he adjusted to our pace, which make it completely doable. Would highly recommend.
Great Tour

Ana was such a great guide for our first real activity in Madrid. The tour is a great introduction to Madrid, and the food is varied for all tastes. Even though it was pouring rain while we were there, we had such a great time with Ana. Highly recommend!

Lunch Time Tapas Tour Madrid
Andrew_H, Oct 2019
Perfect way to spend a afternoon, great company, excellent wines & stunning food, interspersed with historical information about the city of Madrid and origins of Tapas
Best thing we did in Madrid
Mariana_G, Oct 2019
We absolutely loved this tour! Alfonso is just the best guide and made everybody feel welcomed and included. I think this tour would be great for any type of tourist, if they want to learn about food and Madrid, or just to have a fun evening out. We were a small group (3 couples), different ages and nationalities but somehow the whole time we felt like friends out eating and talking to each other. And I'm not the most social person out here. Food wise everything was tasty, interesting and it was a big quantity - I was extra full at the end. Wine was also very good. Tasted a traditional stew, some tapas (at a clasic old restaurant), different types of jamon, ciorizo (at a traditional jamoneria), some traditional olive oil, sea food tapas and churros with chocolate + had 2 glasses of red wine, 1 glass of white wine and 1 cava cup. So yes, it's worth it! This tour has great value and and the highlight of our trip to Madrid.
So much fun!!!
Nancy_R, Sep 2019
