Cannot rate this show highly enough ! Fantastic from start to finish from the dancers ,singer and guitarist all performances were spectacular. Special thanks to Melody the main host for her ‘workshop’ and her special quality of informing us all of the history of Flamenco. We took a taxi as it was a bit out of the main city but we took the train back to the centre (Sol) the nearest station to the venue was Portazgo and it was quicker much cheaper and direct .

Fantastic workshop and show! The workshop explains the footwork, clapping rhythms, history of flamenco and music. The show..WOW!!! What a magical and magnificent experience of a lifetime. Dinner was three courses and it included a beverage. Excellent local food. The location of the venue is very interesting. Don't hold that against you going. Its next door to a restaurant and you have to go down the stairs. It reminded me of some great jazz clubs I've been to. Its definitely where the locals go and not some over the top tourist show. The staff are super friendly and helpful. I adored how nice the dancers, guitarist and the singer are too. They have great appreciation and gratitude when you compliment them. They are passionate about what they do and love it most of all. Please do go, enjoy the venue and take pictures! Its definitely worth the time and effort.

This was a great introduction to flamenco; history, guitar, song and dance. The metro ride out and back was easy, the dancers entertaining and skilled. Great way to spend an evening

My fiancé and I loved the show! Unfortunately, the location is quite a ways from central Lisbon so we had to take a taxi. The place is set up like a small restaurant with a stage in front. There are 3 options each for appetizers and entrees, and 2 for desserts. Includes one drink, but generally alcohol was very cheap in Portugal (compared to the US). The dancers were talented and passionate. We did show up a little early, so we were able to hear some of the history of Flamenco from one of the dancers during the workshop, which was fun.

Don't get what you pay for

I was looking forward to this show and workshop. I had done lots of research and it seem to have it all. As they say to good to be true. I rang ahead and confirmed twice, dinner at 9 then show at 10pm then workshop the final performance finishing at 12. How my night went. Arrived at 8.40pm greaterd in English l, dinner served by a lovely waitress. But that's where it ended. Show started at 10.20pm a Spanish introduction by an English speaking manager. NO information about history of flaminco. Clapping and music till 10.45. Then dancers and finished at approx 11.15pm. Bill arrived for drinks and closed at 11.20pm. We didn't get 2 shows or A WORKSHOP. I wouldn't recommend

Dear Susan, I am very sad to read your comments as when I asked you how your evening went, you said everything was fine. I must point out that the workshop is at 8pm and as you arrived at 8:40, you missed it. The start time is clearly stated in the description of the event. The show did start a bit late because the guitarist had had a problem and had to send a substitute. I did explain that at the beginning of the show but as you rightly said, in Spanish. I should have explained in English for those non Spanish speakers present and I apologise for that but I was anxious to get on with the event knowing that we had started late. The show had a duration of 80 minutes and on this occasion without a break due to the late start. Once again I lament that your experience was not up to standard and I will certainly take your comments into consideration to make sure others don’t feel the same.

A small quaint place a bit out of the main part of Madrid left us with a Local immersion of Spanish culture. The performers gave it their all and were amazing. The food was also delicious.

Great fun! A bit out of main Madrid which made it better - not the madness of touristy Madrid. Learned so much about what Flamenco really is - did some steps then had a good dinner followed by a wonderful Flamenco show.

My husband and I truly enjoyed ourselves. We did the pre-dance lessons and had a ball. The dancers and staff were so pleasant. Dinner was great. This was one excursion we highly recommend.
