Cecilia was an absolutely amazing tour guide. I usually don't write reviews, but this young lady was beyond impressive. She is very educated in history, politics and made the tour super interesting and informative. She went beyond tour guide duties to make sure we are fully engaged and interested, We had 13 and 19 year old with us who also enjoyed it. Can't say enough. Highly recommend.

The description of this tour does not do it justice. There is much more food and wine sampling than is described, which was more than OK with me. And none was at an additional expense.
Andrea was a wonderful guide and so personable. We had a breakfast of chocolate and churros at her favorite spot. At a food market, we stopped at a kiosk to meet with a wine specialist who served us a sampling of olive oils and wines. Cava at another spot and tapas at another. The tours of La Latina and Lavapies were so interesting. Andrea took us into an office building to see a small section of the old city wall. This was a treat and not seen from the outside of the building. I doubt many people know of this hidden piece of history.

We absolutely loved this tour! A bit of history as well as sampling the local wine and food. It was so well done and our tour guide Andrea was a delight. It was interesting as well as a relaxed fun few hours walking the streets of Madrid. One of the best tours so far. Would definitely recommend if you want a little bit of everything.

Andrea was my tour host for this trip. I was the only client and it worked out just perfect. I was very lucky to have such a professional, personable and funny tour host! Andrea provided a lot of information on the various neighborhoods in Lavapais and La Latina. It was a relaxing and wonderful trip

This was an excellent tour and our host Cecelia was absolutely undoubtedly amazing. She took us through 3 typical neighbourhoods of Madrid - places we would not have gone as a tourist plus she gave us so may hints and tips along the way.after the tour she sent us an email of all the places we had been so we could go back again which I thought was very thoughtful. This is a must do tour please make it one of the first things you do when in Madrid as it will shape your whole experience and put everything into perspective.

Awesome Tour. Cecilia is an excellent tour guide. As a local she really taught me and my family all about Madrid and the culture. We stopped by several places to sample tapas and wine. It was fun to learn about the history of Madrid from a local and she did all of this in a professional, yet friendly manner. Of the many tours we took in Paris and Madrid, this tour was the best one. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Madrid.

Ask for Cecilia!!! If you have Cecilia as your tour guide you are up to a wonderful experience. This young woman is full of energy and knowledge regarding the history and the social classes of the city. She made sure we see the differences between the neighborhoods both architecturally and socially. We visited few food markets and tasted a typical Spanish food Tapas while getting a short explanation about the source of the food/wine. It was very interesting and yummy. At the same day we received an email from Cecilia with a summery of our 4 hours trip mentioning all the places we visited for a future reference. Mucho Gracias Cecilia!!

This tour should really be called a tapas tour. So much delicious food! More importantly, we got to connect with locals who were providing us the food. A memorable person to person experience. Our guide Cecilia was lively, knowledgeable, and even provided us with some recommendations for the rest of our time in Madrid!

Andrea was our tour guide on this walking tour. She was very knowledgable and interesting. She took us around La Latina and Lapavies and showed us little details only a true local would know of. This tour is highly recommended.

This tour was really interesting. It was only a small group of 5 and our guide Andrea gave us a very good history lesson of Madrid. There were 4 stops on the tour giving you the chance to taste typical spanish food and wine. The tour lasted about 3hrs 30.

Cecelia was a fabulous, highly knowledgeable guide. We were able to relate with her almost immediately. Madrid is a fantastic city with many fantastic monuments, squares and a rich history. She exposed us to all of the above and more: food, small niches full of historical factoids, even a cloister of nuns that baked special cookies. All in all, a great tour which was well worth our time.

I cannot say enough good words for this tour...Our guide Andrea was OUTSTANDING, she took her time showing us places you just don't see otherwise and extremely knowledgeable....My friend only brought a sweater and she was nice enough to lets us stop for her to buy a lite jacket as it was chilly. This is a private tour so the individual attention and intimacy of the tour really come through and you feel like you've bonded with your tour guide by the end. Two thumbs WAY WAY up for the tour, if you don't do this you are truly missing out on a wonderful Madrid experience.

Wow! Andrea took us on an incredible tour last Friday morning through four historical neighbourhoods of Madrid. Her knowledge of Madrid's colourful history was extent. We literally ate and drank our way through the old city to experience so many hidden secrets of this beautiful city. Don't miss this tour if you visit Madrid.

Best tour of the trip. Cecilia was amazing and we learnt so much from her about Madrid. We tried local cheeses, olives and organic wine, bread and fruit first time eating a fresh fig - yum!. We tried churros with hot chocolate, and ended a long and very interesting walk in a local patisserie with the most fabulous cakes. It felt like taking a walk with a good friend! Don't hesitate to do this tour - you won't regret it. Cecilia even managed to cope with a picky eater, a fussy vegetarian mother and a lovely lady who would try anything!

This was very well worth, if only for the tour guide Ines, who was extremely good ,knowledgeable, friendly and charming.
We saw places we probably would not have gone to see .
All in all very good especially as it was only a small group, and Ines interacted with us all.
Well recommended, especially Ines!

This was a very good tour. It was just my friend and I along with the tour guide. So the walk was catered to our needs, which was great. It ran a little longer than 3 hours, but again it was catered to our needs and we had the time. We were able to see places I otherwise would not have known about. Great Walking tour.

Cecelia was very good. Food and wine was good. A little too much walking up hilly streets, but all I all I would recommend this tour.
