Two great places to see. Our guide Barbara was very good. I did not get the meal option as there are so many places in Segovia to sit in an outside Café and free time to visit the many shops.

gorgeous, gorgeous gorgeous. Beautiful historic town. Lunch was ok, with traditional buffet served and wine. I probably would have ventured on our own and hand picked something not suggested by the tour operator but we understood the time constrain and the need to stay with the group. I highly recommend to visit Avila and Segovia and this tour seemed like the best way to do it, quickly and in one day.

This was a great trip ,very nicely organized and our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. I will certainly book my future tours with Viator . This was a great experience.

Satisfied that I joined this tour. Guide was friendly, explained well and no rush. The two towns, however, deserve more time as there is more to appreciate in them.

i had a really good time on this tour. It wasn't crowed and just enough people that you didn't feel left it. I did the tour in English and Spanish and our tour guide made sure that we English speaking people got the same amount attention as the Spanish ones. It was very hot! But the bus was very cool. We had the authentic dinner at a very nice restaurant and got to do a little shopping on the side. The bus didn't drop us off at the same place it picked us up but it was centrally located from everyone's hotels. I nice excursion.

Interesting, beautiful places. An easy way to get away from Madrid for the day. The first stop in Avila elt a bit rushed, but we understood It was needed due to the lunch planned in Segovia, which was gorgeous and a more paced tour.

The tour was excellent and very interesting. Although we were led to believe we would be picked up and dropped off at our hotel, the bus driver informed us that he was late returning and would drop us off a Metro station to find our own way back. This was unexpected and disturbing since we were dead tired and didn't know our way around and what we had signed for. We have 2 other tours booked in Barcelona, hope we don't have same experience. Please reply at your earliest experience.

A great tour and a comfortable way to see two world heritage sites in one easy day trip from Madrid. An additional hour needs to be added to the itinerary to allow time to explore the walls of Avila--an important experience which is omitted on this tour. Segovia was wonderful--the aqueduct, the cathedral, and the alcazar are spectacular, not-to-be-missed sites.

Really a great trip. Excellent tour guide! She was very excited about the new snow on the mountain pass which was fun for us, being from Colorado. Our only problem was that the bus was 15 minutes late. Not a big deal but we worried that we were waiting in the wrong place.

The tour guide was challenged by having to say everything in both Spanish and English. Otherwise, it met my expectations.

This tour with Julia Travel had way too much packed into it. We were rushed the entire time. I didn't even have time to see the Aquaduct except a glance of it down a street. That was one of the things I really wanted to see. The pickup at our hotel was over a half hour late, and we were returned too late to catch the connecting bus so they dropped us off, and we had to find our own way back to our hotel.

I highly recommend going on tours when visiting Madrid. However, I would probably research a bit more before booking a specific tour. I thought other tours at the same location looked a bit better. It was an interesting tour and I don't regret taking it. It had a bit of a religious emphasis, specially in Avila where the main attraction was Saint Teresa, which I didn't care for. Our guide was okay, I could understand her but my husband had a difficult time. I felt like we rushed through the best locations while taking longer visiting the Cathedrals.
I really recommend getting your own food instead of booking it during the trip. This tour stops for lunch at Segovia, there is a small restaurant behind the Cathedral called 'El Patio' that has delicious food at a very good price. It was probably some of the best food I had during my trip to Madrid, but their menu changes daily.

Tour guide not good! Aviles tour boring.not worth the price paid. But Segovia tour not as bad. Tour guide needs to interact with customers and to engage them a little.

Locations were great but the tour was not very good as a whole because of the guide who was the worst guide we have experienced in over 6 years of using the Viator web site for excursions .
