I tended to like the stop in Segovia more than Toledo. Each place was cool and I enjoyed learning about the history of Spain and the locations. I would very much recommend the trip. Our guide was very good and accommodating.
Our Guide Nacho was very knowledgeable and had the right touch of humor to keep people from getting too overwhelmed with information.
The visit to Segovia and Toledo were very informatived and well prepared. Our guide knew the history and was friendly with all travelers, he took the time to know all our names by the end of the visit to both places. It’s a must do!

I was on a short trip to Madrid and booked this tour to get in a couple of additional cities. My tour left from outside the Ventas Metro Stop across from the main Bull Ring in front of a Toyota dealership. I had booked via Viator, but found the other travelers on the bus came from a variety of other tour groups. We left in the rain on Monday morning for the approximately 90 min ride to Segovia. Along the way, our guide Matthew ?? pointed out various sights and gave some historical information. Prior to arriving in now sunny Segovia, he gave us a short history of the area. The bus stopped just outside the aqueduct, and he explained how the tour would go. We'd all walk together through the city, with a couple of stops, then on to the Cathedral where we would have 30 min on our own to either explore the area, the Cathedral, get a bite to eat, etc. We then met up again for the quick walk to the Alcazar where we were given an extensive tour of the castle. With that done, we were able to walk back on our own to meet the bus with a bit of time to explore, before the bus was to leave for Toledo. The trip to Toledo took about 2 hours, and we were given time to explore on our own with maps handed out before meeting to tour the Cathedral. We were told what time to meet the bus for the ride back to Madrid, and allowed to explore on our own. I found this an excellent tour, as I'm not much for the hand holding approach to guided tours, and appreciate the ability to wander about on my own, after receiving initial guidance on an area. There were about 20 people in our group and it was nice to meet up with some of them from time to time while wandering to exchange tips and info. I had never taken this type of tour before and would do so in the future as it suited my needs and desires to a tee!
This was such a great tour. even though it was raining. Having an opportunity to visit these two cities was truly unforgettable. In Segovia, visiting the Alcazar was so historic. Its such a beautiful castle. In Toledo, the cathedral was absolutely breathtaking. When visiting Spain this tour is the perfect way to escape to these two gorgeous cities.
I’m glad we booked this tour while staying in Madrid. Segovia and Toledo has breathtaking views. We enjoyed exploring both cities and Benniy made this tour educational for everyone.
Muy buena la experiencia y nuestra guía fue fabulosa!!!!
Excellent tour! Enjoyed both cities, absolutely stunning!....so glad we booked this added tour while staying in Madrid. We departed on time and had a delightful tour guide and driver. Would highly recommend. :
This turned out to be a very educational and fun tour, this was an IBE Iberian Event sponsored tour. Nacho our guide was very entertaining and quite knowledgeable about every aspect of the tour, his sense of humor and charm with which he shared that knowledge was what made it all so interesting. I would definitely recommend this all in one tour for first timers to Madrid area. Both cities offer unique historical outlook, Segovia being in the mountain region was a bit colder and there was still remnants of snow around as we drove into the area. Toledo on the other hand was much warmer and I think more scenic. They were both beautiful places to visit.and the included visits to the Alcazar and the Cathedral was truly an educational bonus. My hats off to our guide Nacho for the fantastic job he did on the tour and the driver for taking us to and from there in such a safe and comfortable bus ride.Considering the time of the year I expected extremely cold weather, but the weekly weather temperatures were mid to high 50s during the day and dropped to high 20s to low 30s in the early morning. For the adventurous,I highly recommend the zip line in Toledo. Its only about 10 euros, and its a capoff of the the tour in Toledo.
