Our group of 6 was a few minutes late to the bus and everyone, including the passengers, were very understanding. The bus ride was comfortable (with wifi!) and they way they break it up for the two cities didn't make you feel like you were on the bus all that long. My husband and I enjoy history so seeing these medieval cities was very cool. The tour guide (I think Meghan but I'm not sure) was funny and knowledgeable. She spoke the tour in both English and Spanish and gave us time at each location to walk around. Segovia was impressive and the Alcazar with its rich history was amazing but the tour did not include the tower view tickets which I think I would have liked to see. The only bad part was the lunch hour felt rushed since the service people in Toledo were entirely too laid back. It added stress to what was until that time a very relaxing tour. The Cathedral was amazing and Meghan? did an excellent job taking us around. If you have an extra day in Madrid, I highly recommend this tour but remember it is an all day event.

It was a very fun experience! Our tour guide Barbara was very nice, friendly and accomodating. The tour was well arranged and it was definitely worth it!

I tended to like the stop in Segovia more than Toledo. Each place was cool and I enjoyed learning about the history of Spain and the locations. I would very much recommend the trip. Our guide was very good and accommodating.

Very interesting but very long day. Views spectacular. Temp. was around 39 deg. so together with the amount of walking and hills we were totally exhausted.

Our Guide Nacho was very knowledgeable and had the right touch of humor to keep people from getting too overwhelmed with information.

The visit to Segovia and Toledo were very informatived and well prepared. Our guide knew the history and was friendly with all travelers, he took the time to know all our names by the end of the visit to both places. It’s a must do!

The tour guide was great! We went on Friday, June 1. At first it was going to be a small group of us but then they allowed other people to join the tour. Segovia was very rushed and I was disappointed that we didn't have more time. We were given a hour to explore. By the time you walked from the castle back to the bus it took up most of the time. I've been to Segovia before so I was bummed that my family first time here didn't get to truly see it. We even arrived late to the bus. Toledo we had more time to explore and eat and it was right after Corpus Christi, so all the flowers and banner were still up.

I was on a short trip to Madrid and booked this tour to get in a couple of additional cities. My tour left from outside the Ventas Metro Stop across from the main Bull Ring in front of a Toyota dealership. I had booked via Viator, but found the other travelers on the bus came from a variety of other tour groups. We left in the rain on Monday morning for the approximately 90 min ride to Segovia. Along the way, our guide Matthew ?? pointed out various sights and gave some historical information. Prior to arriving in now sunny Segovia, he gave us a short history of the area. The bus stopped just outside the aqueduct, and he explained how the tour would go. We'd all walk together through the city, with a couple of stops, then on to the Cathedral where we would have 30 min on our own to either explore the area, the Cathedral, get a bite to eat, etc. We then met up again for the quick walk to the Alcazar where we were given an extensive tour of the castle. With that done, we were able to walk back on our own to meet the bus with a bit of time to explore, before the bus was to leave for Toledo. The trip to Toledo took about 2 hours, and we were given time to explore on our own with maps handed out before meeting to tour the Cathedral. We were told what time to meet the bus for the ride back to Madrid, and allowed to explore on our own. I found this an excellent tour, as I'm not much for the hand holding approach to guided tours, and appreciate the ability to wander about on my own, after receiving initial guidance on an area. There were about 20 people in our group and it was nice to meet up with some of them from time to time while wandering to exchange tips and info. I had never taken this type of tour before and would do so in the future as it suited my needs and desires to a tee!

The sights visited on this tour were great. Our bus broke after leaving Segovia and within 30 minutes another bus was sent to pick us up to continue with our excursion to Toledo. I give them 5 stars for finding a quick resolution. The reason for only giving 3 stars is because for the most part we couldnt hear the guide as she had a soft voice. In Toledo, the visit to the cathedral was exquisite but it really was a visual tour with a few moments of audio when we stood next to our guide. If you were in the back of the group of 15-20 you heard nothing. If you book this tour, I recommend you confirm what audio will be used. If they do not provide electronic audio where you can hear your guide through headphones this is more of a visual tour.
