This tour was great and we have the opportunity to enjoy the best of Toledo as much as a half day possibly can allow. Manolo, our guy, was very professional with a great knowledge of the city surroundings and history. He also went the extra mile to our your a great experience.

Wow, I would give this tour 6 stars if I could! First off, the company was very organize and we left on time.

Our tour guide, Elisa, was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! She was extremely knowledgable, friendly, approachable, and organized you could tell that this was her profession, and she enjoys it! She speaks at the perfect pace for everyone to understand, and her English is fluent and understandable despite her accent. She doesn't walk to fast, and always looks back to make sure everyone is there.

Elisa took us to 5 monuments, all of which are religious first was a church, then the cathedral 2nd largest in Spain, then we saw the most famous El Greco painting, next was a mosque and finally a monastery. The cathedral was HUGE, and the monastery was beautiful. Elisa enhanced this experience by explaining so many beautiful details of these places. After, we went to eat at a beautiful scenic restaurant a little up in the mountains, and then Elisa took us to a factory where they explained some sort of metalwork this factory was attached to a gift shop which was nice. We had ample time to explore everything. Elisa kept us exactly on schedule, and nothing felt rushed.

Toledo itself is very much a small town. No fast food, only traditional restaurants. Make sure you buy some marzipan, because that is one of the things they are famous for! The town is beautiful and has so much history! Toledo is a must-see if you are visiting Madrid!

I can't express enough how great Elisa was. I would definitely take any tour that she did.

Beautiful city. Booked Full Day Tour without Lunch advertised approximately 9 hours with Viator but conducted by Julia Travels the travel time from Madrid to Toledo is about 1 hour each way. Once you get to Toledo, the walking tour starts and last approximately 2 hours, this part of the tour is excellent. Then, if you booked the tour with no lunch you have approximately 1.5 hours free time on your own for eating and shopping. If you book the tour with lunch they take you to a restaurant for lunch.
Next they take you to tour of a craft factory where they make swords and jewelry, there you will see a craftsman heat up steel and beat with a hammer to shape the sword edge approximately 5 minutes, you move to another room where there is a second craftsman making jewelry Another 5 minutes and the rest of the 1.5 hours allotted for the craft factory tour is at their gift shop. By the way, this was not advertised in their tour description. In my opinion this part of the tour is a waste of time and it is just to fill the full day, it would have been better to let you have free time to roam around the city.
The tour guide was very excellent, professional and spoke perfect English and Spanish. The description in the full day tour is misleading.
Bottom line if you remove the craft factory tour, it is same as a half a day tour. Toledo deserved a full day.

Hotel pick up was 40 minutes late, organization was not up to par with such a large group and trip left Madrid half an hour later of the scheduled time, The guide only answered questions either with a yes or no with no specific details.

This tour is great, you hit all the majors sites in Toledo and the guide is very knowledgable. I had the higher level lunch included in the tour and it was awful... Stale bread, meat with lots of bones and cheap appetizers. My advise is to skip the lunch and do lunch on your own. You will have a better experience.

We did the half day tour of Toledo - an amazing city. The bus stops at a spot where you can take unbelievable photos. Our guide was alternating between Spanish and English during the trip and seemed to speak more in Spanish than in English and she was a bit difficult to understand

Morning tour of Madrid was on a bus entirely. You couldn't see anything and it was a bilingual tour so half spanish, half english, made it difficult to tune in and out to what guide was saying. We left the tour early it was awful. Afternoon in Toledo could have been interesting but our same guide from the Madrid AM tour was less than enthusiastic, she couldn't wait for the day to end, that was obvious.

Our guide was superb - but we had to speedwalk through the sights to fit it all in. By the last stop, everyone was tired. And much of the walking is uphill. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes. The lunch was definitely worth doing as well - delicious food in an historic house. After much walking in the heat, it was nice to sit in a beautiful old house and be waited on.
