Overall the trip was wonderful! Although, this is really more of just a transport than a planned excursion.
The website claims "Transport from Malaga" but they no longer pick up from there. Make sure to factor in cab fare from Malaga to Torremolinos.
The driver and leader were both pleasant and very helpful. Quite lovely people. But, it is really just a bus ride then you join another company for the Dolphin Cruise. We did see loads of dolphins and the day was just lovely. I highly recommend that excursion. The company and staff made an excellent experience.
We had a few free hours before and after the Dolphin Cruise, but we were not give much guidance as to where to go, what to do, or where to find maps. Gibraltar is easy to figure out, so it was not much of a problem. But I think this would be better labeled as "Transport to Gibraltar from Torremolinos and Transfer to Dolphin Cruise."
One detail is that a short stop, for visuting restrooms etc, should have been included in the approximately 3 h bus-tour from Malaga to Gibraltar. A 20-25 min stop should have been included at a cafeteria to have time for restroom visits an to take a cup of coffe.
Overall, we are very satisfied with the trip, and we got help from the guide to include the Rock tour in our Dolphin Gibraltar tour. I suggest that you should consider including this offer as a ordinary tour.
Very early departure. Tour did not leave from Malaga City- I had to take a taxi from Malaga city into Torremolinos to be picked up. On time pick up- that was good. The tour guide Enrico was abrasive. The dolphin tour was good. I did not know that I would not be able to do the tour of the Rock of Gibraltar if I went on the Dolphin tour. So, I had to take the cable car up the rock, own expense. So, if you want to do the tour of the rock, do not go on the dolphin tour. Insufficient time to do it all- recommend an overnight stay in Gibraltar- it really is a very interesting place.
Dolphins beautiful but I will never buy from Viator again. I stayed in the centre of Malaga and yet I had to pay 35 Euros to get to the pick up points in Malaga. All I was told was that Viator should have taken Malaga from the list of pick ups. It was this trip and the trip to Jerez and Cadiz. Both lovely trips apart from the costs of taxies to the pick up points. VIATOR PLEAS REPLY TO THIS REVIEW
