What You Can Expect

Málaga City Pass: Experience Card or VIP Experience Card

Enjoy a City Sightseeing boat ride with your city pass

Head to any one of the well-placed, city-wide City Sightseeing hop-on hop-off bus stops, and exchange your voucher with the driver to receive your chosen card and included attraction tickets.

Your Málaga city pass grants you access to some of the city’s most visited attractions and, with your included 24-hour ticket for City Sightseeing’s hop-on hop-off buses, the means to travel between them quickly and easily. Both pass options also include a 1-hour walking tour of Málaga Old Town, which provides an excellent overview of the city’s history, as well as a 1-hour Málaga Bay boat ride.

With your Málaga Experience Card, check out six popular attractions, including Museo Picasso Malaga, make use of the city’s electric train system, and savor tapas and wine at Bodega Bar El Pimpi or the grill restaurant Toro Muelle Uno.

If you’ve opted for the Málaga VIP Experience Card, you’ll get entry to four attractions and a 45-minute flamenco show at either MIMMA or Alea restaurant, with tapas and wine included. See the Itinerary for the list of attractions and hop-on hop-off bus stops.

Please note: Both cards are valid for 24 hours from the time of first use.

5 star rating: Highly Recommended February 2016

Hop on hop off allowed us to see the entire city then focus on areas we wanted to explore. The walking guided tour was a great bonus as we learned so much about the city we would never have known. We especially enjoyed the 1 hour boat ride on the harbor. We felt we saw Malaga from land, sea and air, if you count going to the Alcazar and looking down! VIP Experience was well worth the money. Start early and enjoy the day. Be sure you can get back to your car before the last bus. We parked at the train station but were having tapas in Old Town when the buses stopped. Quite a long walk. Do no recommend it in the dark when you don't know the city.

We bought the experience card, but only used it for two museums because there were so many other things to do and see. The red line works very efficiently, but when we tried to swap to the green line for the automobile museum and botanical gardens there was a problem. Our lovely driver told us that it was going to take a long time because the driver of the green line had gone to lunch an wouldn't be back for 90 minutes, and then the route takes 90 minutes. We had a ship to catch, so we didn't have time. The lesson is plan your time carefully'. There is a convenient and easily located stop within easy walking distance of the cruise ship.

3 star rating: Worth doing November 2015

We drive three diferent Buses - very poor audio system / sound quality in the older buses and a lot of the outlets didn't work properly.two out of three drivers drove well, last one wasn't comfortable to drive with. But hey, the weather was nice...

3 star rating: Worth doing October 2015

Route is tooooooooooooooooooooooo short.
The pass for Picasso should have been for the better exhibit, I would have enjoyed this work instead of the home where he live which is not even the original.

2 star rating: It was OK, but could have been better January 2016

Nice city with many interesting sites. However, a 24 hour pass is not worth it should be two days. In the off season, it is difficult to locate the bus and obtain the vouchers if you are not. Staying on Paseo Parque. The advertised boat ride is not available in January.
