Our guide was fantastic. Malaga is a fascinating place rich in history and Culture. Food and entertainment 5 star. Although our first tapas stop seemed that the restaurant was not expecting us and the owner seemed to have an attitude, his food was great and our tour guide made the best of the situation.

Unique flamenco experience
Laura_P, May 2023
Flamenco show was very good. Tapas food was ok but could have been better. Would recommend for the flamenco experience.
Malaga Tapas and Flamenco with a side of history - FANTASTIC!
Diane_C, Mar 2023
Jose was fantastic. So knowledgeable, answered every one of our questions, and was an overall joy to tour around Malaga on foot with. We went to the oldest winery in Malaga that specializes in sweet wine, then to the market (while it was closed, he still took his time to share the meaning behind the stained glass), and then onto two tapas locations with bountiful and traditional Spanish foods. Lastly was the the flamenco show which was unbelievably a wonder, the talent in their footwork was awe-inspiring. The whole tour was incredible, cannot say enough good things about it.
Good event because of guide

Jose was a great guide and very knowledgable about the various venues and Malaga history. We were lucky to have his undivided attention.
Fantastic. Don’t hesitate.

Fantastic. Carlos was brilliant the only fault was he disappeared too quickly for us to buy him a drink. Ultimately, you could eat and drink cheaper but the tour will take you to places you otherwise wouldn’t visit. The flamenco show was outstanding. Would recommend to anyone. Top draw.

not worth the money

For that price you should expect more. The host was friendly and I appreciate that she just did the tour for the two of us, but it wasn't great. We first went to the oldest winery where we had a shot of the sweet wine. The next place we went to had an interesting design and history but the food was mediocre We had one plate of chicken with tomato and a potato salad with orange plus we both got a glass of wine. Then we went to the second place which wanted to serve us the same potato salad and a tuna with peppers. We returned the salad and got peppers with eggs. We also got 3 glasses of wine in total. Unfortunatel, the wine wasn't great. I actually didn't want wine but the lady misunderstood me. That was the tapas tour very underwhelming. I know we have some food restrictions, but going to two places isn't a tapas tour. After that, we went to the flamenco show. This is quite a walk so I expected a unique place it was average While I didn't expect her to sit with us, i would have appreciated a short history about the place about flamenco or an outline of the story we will watch . Also for that price I would have expected her to have a table reserved for us and a free jar/ glass of Sangria.i done a tapas and flamenco show in Madrid which cost less had more tapas, better flamenco and a free jar of Sangria.
Response from Host, Aug 2019
Dear friend, We are surprised by your comment, since they had fantastic attention, taking into account all the nutritional impediments that we had to solve. The restaurants visited were the best quality in the Historic Center, usually visited by local people, where Spanish cuisine is served. But if you had no intention of trying the rich Spanish gastronomy, understand that it is difficult to please you. We hope you liked the flamenco show at least, where they had a reserved table next to the stage and a drink included per person. Even Sangria! Maybe we didn't have the best day to please him! We are very sorry that this was the case. Greetings,

Very nice tour, I highly recommend doing it. The tour guide ordered something special for my girlfriend because she is veggie, that was very kind. The Flamenco Show is awesome! Enough tapas, wine and flamenco :

Lorraine_B, Feb 2018
This tour was very disappointing! Horribly overpriced considering the very stingy tapas offered (10 tiny sardines between 7 of us). We calculated that we probably had no more than 10 euros worth of food each and we’re all left hungry. The Flamenco show was amazing, go separately only 15€

Fantastic, we started the tour in an old wine bar/cellar where we met Maria. Maria was very passionate and informative, she showed us places we would never have found without her. The first place we stopped for tapas and wine was one of the oldest restaurants in Malaga. We continued onto the cathedral and onto another tapas bar where we skewered our own sardines. Onto the Flamenco show , this was the best we had ever seen totally amazing. Well worth the money paid, definitely recommended.

A fantastic experience, the only problem was finding the first bar, but once there it was amazing, our guide was great and told us lots about Malaga City, as this was our first visit definitely not the last we learnt a lot. The bars we were taken to were lovely and the people were so friendly, we even got the chance to cook our own sardines. The Flamenco Show was one to remember, not your typical tourist show, very intense, very Spanish and something we will remember for a long time. Can't recommend highly enough.

Easy location for meeting. A small number of fellow Tourists made for an easy group. Excellent guide took us to the 3 top spots along the tour and pointed out other places of interest. The pub/restaurants were all different to each other and all the Tapas and wines offered were lovely and different in each place. You could even cook your own sardines on an open fire supervised by the Chef. Beautiful weather made the tour even better. The Flamenco Show at the end of the evening was a real highlight. It was lively, colourful and very authentic. The premises are quite small and was full-about 50 people who all gave a standing ovation at the conclusion. Highly recommended.

Carlos was really a super host for our first night in Malaga! His warm personality, his knowledge of Malaga, some interesting history but most importantly the tapas and the info relating to the various types! A great way to start our trip! Thanks Carlos for a brilliant evening! The highlight to a wonderful night was the Flamenco Show - goosebump stuff! Thank you again! Tania and Reimar from South Africa

We can't recommend this tour highly enough. Carlos, our guide, was friendly, knowledgeable, and just a joy for the evening. The tapas at the two restaurants MalagaPura and restaurante el chinitas we visited were varied and interesting. The highlight of the evening was the Kelipe Flamenco Arts Center, where we were blown away by the music and dancing. Amazing tour!

Amazing way to see the city and taste the local cuisine. Our tour guide, Paco, was great! Paco took us to four restaurants and/or pubs where he ordered all our food and some of our beverages. This was my favorite part of Malaga and I would recommend it to anyone.
Séjour à Malaga Septembre 2019
madiperron2, Oct 2019
