Overview

Visit two of Malta’s neighboring islands in one day on this full-day cruise from Sliema. Explore the picturesque villages of Gozo island on a sightseeing bus tour, then cool off with a swim in the Blue Lagoon on Comino Island. Hotel pickup and drop-off is included.
  • Full-day Comino and Gozo Islands cruise from Sliema
  • See Gozo sights such as Mġarr, Xewkija, Xlendi, and Għarb on a bus tour of the island
  • Enjoy swimming and snorkelling at the Blue Lagoon on Comino Island
  • Tour includes hotel pickup and drop-off
Your tour begins with pickup from your Malta hotel and a short transfer to Sliema cruise port in time for a 10am departure. After meeting your captain and crew, hop aboard your cruise ship and set sail around the island’s beautiful beaches and bays.

The first stop of the day is Gozo Island, where you’ll have chance to explore the island on a 2-hour bus tour, making brief stops in the villages of Mġarr, Xewkija, Xlendi, and Għarb. Jump out to take photos, enjoy the views, and get a glimpse of local life, before heading back to your cruise ship.

Continue to Comino Island, where you’ll have an hour of free time to swim and snorkel in the glittering waters of the Blue Lagoon, before setting out on the return journey.

Arrive back in Sliema around 5.30pm (summer) or 4.30pm (winter), where a driver will be waiting to take you back to your hotel.

I can't really rate this trip as I was able to avail it due to miscommunication and irresponsibility of the local tour guides. They left without us in spite of we reaching the spot on time and waiting for an hour.

Awesome way to spend your day and see Gozo and the Blue Lagoon!

I would give this less than 1 star if I could - worst tour booking I've ever made.
First, this is not an independent cruise operator. The ticket that is booked for you is for a generic group tour a huge tourist trap that I'd been trying to avoid. You can get these tix anywhere in Malta as they have reps on every corner.
Beyond the misleading Viator booking, the tour itself was a disorganized mess. We were given a concrete time to be out front of the hotel for pick-up and no shuttle ever showed up for us. when we showed our Viator ticket no mention of tour operator on it and asked if it was our tour twice we were told no, no, this is different tour. We called the local contact listed in our booking multiple times, but no one picked up the phone. After waiting for ages we took matters into our hands and took a taxi to the port EUR 40! before we missed the boat. When we got there we explained our frustration to the confused guy giving us wristbands, but because we hadn't booked our tickets through a Rep there was no one to help us until the end of the tour. That would've been OK except we ended up being left behind in Gozo, missed the rest of the tour and had to make our own way home. Long story. The boat was packed, the coach was a cramped/hot van, the guides were disinterested, the sights included a gift shop really? and the overall level of disorganization was just unreal. Malta, you are a beautiful country, but your tourism industry needs some serious work.
If you want to be crammed onto a boat w/ hundreds of other people from various Cruises and then shuttled around by cranky van drivers who make 30 min stops at a gift shop as part of your sight-seeing experience then this tour is for you! Otherwise do yourself a huge favor and take the normal ferry over to Gozo if you want to explore - it's only 5 EUR round-trip and a lot less hassle.

Nice full day tour but be warned...don't go on a Sunday! The ferry was crowded as was the blue lagoon. Somewhat disorganised at the ferry terminal where pick up bus dropped us off. No one tells you which ferry to get on. We had to ask many times before we found the right one.

There was no one to explain the format of the tour. We were picked up, driven to the boat, taken to Gozo but no one on the boat knew what we were going to do in Gozo. We were picked up by a bus driver in Gozo who didn't explain where we were going or what the sites were when we got to each one.
