The trip was well organized and the guide very knowledgeable. We even had extra time at the end so he gave us a tour of Managua. Apoyo is beautiful and the warm, clear lake was amazing to in which to swim. The only negative is that we didn't see a lot of wildlife. I realize some of this is luck, but the guilde even told us it is hard to see toucans because they are being hunted to sell for money. We were looking forward to seeing toucans and monkeys -- maybe the hike should be earlier in the mornig. Overall it was beautiul place and Viator is a top notch, reliable tour company.
