Explore the Amazon rainforest on a 4-day jungle adventure tour from Manaus. Paddle a canoe through the small tributaries of the Rio Negro to fish for piranhas. Set out after dark to see alligators and other nocturnal nightlife in the jungle. Trek through the forest with a nature guide to learn about medicinal plants and their traditional uses. Learn about the traditional farming methods during a visit to a local indigenous tribe, the Caboclos. Spend the night out in the virgin forest camping with a local guide and learn to extract everything you need to survive from the jungle. Accommodation, meals and round-trip transportation from Manaus are included.
We did this 4-Day Adventure Tour in November 2015. The global experience was nice, thanks to the nice nature of Manaus and thanks to the guide. We cannot say the same thing about the Agency tour/ the organizers as we were UNpleasantly surprised by the bad organisation and the behaviour of the organizers.
First of all, I would call this tour a 3-DAY Adventure Tour and not a 4-Day Adventure tour as we started our first activity at 3pm on D1 and we finished our last activity at 11pm on D4 which was a bit disappointing.
Despite a few email conversations, we never received the complete program of our trip and we have been informed 1day in advance that we would sleep in the jungle... which forced us to purchase a mosquito net to the organizers at the high price of 35-30/each. They also incite you to add paying activities to your trip at extravagant price dolphins @50/person real price is between 10 and 20 maximum whereas the tour is supposed to be all included... But I insist to make the difference between the organizers Leonardo Mendes and Fernando - very bad business men and the guide Fabio - an angel

When booking this tour I specifically requested to know the accommodation lodge so that I could research its amenities. Viator provided the name as Tariri Lodge and I used this information to make my decision to book. We were taken to another lodge, much more primitive than the Tariri Lodge - no towels provided, but we could buy them from the lodge no fan in rooms, but we could rent them nightly from the lodge daily 2 l. limit of non-cold drinking water cold drinks available for purchase but quickly ran out of non-alcoholic cold drinks, etc. All of this greatly impacted the quality and the enjoyment of the tour. The daily trips out from the lodge were as advertised and guide provided adequate translation for English speakers. My helpful tip for other travelers is: don't book this tour or this provider, but rather consider other options to see the Amazon jungle.
