Amazing Amazon Adventure

We had the most brilliant day. We expected to be in a group but had the boat to ourselves with a wonderful guide and driver. Elvorado knew everyone and everything and treated us to a really thrilling day out with a range of adventures including swimming with pink dolphins, meeting an Amazonian tribe, wrestling with huge red fish and getting up close and personal with a Caiman. It was extraordinary and I’d recommend it to anyone who enjoys an adventure.

A small group is best!

This tour was amazing! We started off the day by racing ahead of the big boats to be the first to swim with the dolphins. This was important because dozens of people showed up later! This experience was the highlight of the day; swimming with these large and strangely cute animals is exciting. Then we went to visit an indigenous community. Later, we took a short break to swim in the Rio Negro, which is warm water with sandy beaches! The lunch was delicious. The meeting of the waters is just as cool as I expected. The fishing stop was surprisingly hilarious as everyone from little kids to big, tall men tried to catch these extremely powerful fish. All in all, a great day. Apparently, there are a lot of options for this tour. However, this small group one was definitely the best. Who wants to spend all day packed into a crowded boat and waiting for dozens of people to have their turn at everything? Plus our guide and boat driver were really nice and made sure that we all had a great time.
