On arrival, take a sightseeing tour that introduces you to landmarks such as Prescott Park, home to more than 10 acres (4 hectares) of flower gardens and paths where you can see more than 500 types of flowers, a formal garden that acts as a park within a park, fountains, tree-lined walkways, a rose garden, and more. You'll also check out Portsmouth's historic district with its old buildings and specialty shops.

Lunch is included in your day tour with a choice of seafood Newburg, shrimp, crab-crusted salmon, top sirloin steak, chicken parmesan, or a vegetarian dish. Then head to the waterfront to board your cruise, taking off from Portsmouth Harbor to the nine islands of the Isles of Shoals, located six miles (10 km) off the coast.
