What You Can Expect

Hidden Valley Springs Resort Day Trip from Manila

Hidden Valley

After a hotel pickup in Manila, make the 1-hour drive along scenic country roads to Hidden Valley Springs Resort in the town of Alaminos in the Province of Laguna in the Philippines.

Hidden Valley is located between two mystical mountains: Mt. Makiling and Mt. Banahaw. The landscape is highlighted by a 110-acre-wide, 300-foot-deep crater believed to have been formed by a violent volcanic upheaval thousands of years ago. Natural vegetation flourishes in this valley and boasts an impressive collection of rare orchids and other exotic flora. There are several naturally heated, volcanic water pools available for those wanting to take a refreshing dip.

A delicious buffet lunch of traditional Filipino cuisine will be served around noon.

At the end of the day, the tour concludes with a return trip to Manila and a hotel drop-off.

5 star rating: Highly Recommended January 2017

We loved our tour to Hidden Valley Springs with our favorite guides Omar and Oswald. The springs were very beautiful and there was a waterfall we hiked to. Would love to go back someday.

2 star rating: It was OK, but could have been better January 2017

For a day trip, it may not be entirely worth it. Its a fairly long bus trip to a resort that is mostly just a two sets of cascading pools that vary in temperature from luke warm to cool. The food is bland and the place can be quite crowded, which really detracts from the experience. Overall, there are probably better ways to see nature or to sit in hot pools. This trip does neither all that well.
