After hotel pickup in Manila, your day tour starts with the 2-hour drive south of the city by private vehicle to Villa Escudero. For four generations, a family has operated this historical coconut plantation, where a variety of activities and attractions provides an interesting and peaceful way to spend a day.
Take a ride on a water buffalo–drawn cart to the museum to browse its collection of religious, pre-Hispanic, and World War II–era artifacts, and then head to the manmade waterfalls for lunch, which is served on tables that sit across a stream at Labasin Dam—one of the favorite parts of the tour.
Feel free to take a swim in the pools, if you wish, and perhaps enjoy the cultural show, depending on the day of your tour (Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays only). When your time at the resort is up, you'll be returned to the city for hotel drop-off.
