This tour was excellent. The guide was very knowledgeable and did a great job. The island itself was beautiful and the WWII ruins were amazing. Ther was also a very nice lunch about halfway through the tour and there was plenty of time allotted at each stop to take pictures.
That was an amazing Tour. The Island itself is so green , so pure , so clean and so strange in the same time .
All ruins of that Army building make you feel back in time , trying to imagine how was life 60-70 years ago . It is really worth to visit it . The guide , a very professional lady was more than a very nice presence . I'm sorry to have forget her name . She was lovely !
Fascinating history and beautiful island. I thought the pace of the tour was just right, but I could see where some might wish for a little more time in some spots. It was hot and I recommend bringing water you can buy it at some stops along the way, wearing the coolest clothes you have, along with a hat and making sure you have sunscreen. My only disappointment is I wish there had been more space on the deck of the ferry.
I would definitely recommend this trip.
The tour began punctually when I was picked up at my hotel at 6:00am.
After that, we were taken to a small port to take the small ship what would take us to the Corregidor Island.
After 1,5 hours we arrived to the island where little open buses were waiting for us.
Our tour guide was simply great. Very knowledgeable and entertaining.
At 12:00 we had a very good buffet lunch.
The island tour ended around 2:30. After that we took the ship back to Manila.

A truly fascinating trip to the historical site. You really feel that you are being rushed around the place, but that's what happens in large groups. All in all an enjoyable day.
Nice boat ride over to the Island. Very interesting and informative tour of the Island. Amazing artifacts from the war. A very memorable experience. Worth the time and money.
Having been in the Army myself, and having an uncle who served in the Philippines, this was especially interesting to me. You see the sites by bus after the boat trip, and have time to visit the museum, which is very well done. The included lunch was delicious, and plenty of food with a nice variety. You can also climb the tower if desired for a panoramic view.
The tour was outstanding and highly recommended! One of the highlights of my visit to the Philippines.
The WWII and Corregidor Island Tour is a must for those who have an interest in history, especially World War II history. Those who have only a passing interest in history will not be disappointed. The views from the island, the local scenery and wildlife make the visit well worthwhile.
The early departure time from Manila is needed as there is much to see in a day. Any signs of drowsiness are soon blown away by the ferry crew who start the short one hour voyage with an entertaining dance routine.
Upon arrival at the island you are allocated to a small open air bus designed to resemble the trams which operated on the island leading up to its fall to the Japanese in 1942. Each bus has a personal guide. Our guide was amazing. He was a real character and his commentary and engagement with everyone made the tour both informative and entertaining.
The walk through the Malinta tunnel is a must. The audio visual display provides an insight into what it must have been like in the dark days leading to the fall of the island.
Lunch, included in my ticket, was served in a marquee near the Spanish Lighthouse. The food is plentiful and quite tasty. The local drink provided was not to my taste but you are able to purchase other drinks if you so desire and chilled water is also provided.
Time constraints prohibits the tour visiting all points of interest on the island. You will visit the significant historical sites. If you are interested in spending more time exploring the island in detail I it is possible to stay overnight on the island. Overnight stays are not part of this tour.
On the trip back to Manila I could not help wondering what it must have been like enduring the hardships while under siege by the Imperial Japanese Army, with no relief possible and an uncertain future. It makes you appreciate the time in which we live and the sacrifice of others such that we can enjoys such times. Lest we forget!
This was our best tour by far. We loved the whole day, had brilliant weather and the tour guide for bus three was so knowledgeable. For my husband an ex artillery army man the two of them found the whole experience a sharing of knowledge. The Malinta tunnel light show excellent, War memorial excellent and the museum excellent. Lunch at Corredgidor Inn was delicious and plenty of time allowed so you didnt need to wolf it down. I am an avid photographer and the buildings, ruins and guns made this whole day a photographers dream session. Dont miss!
Excellent tour, great lunch and an excellent guide, very informative
This tour was fantastic and highly informative. I learnt so much about the Filipino's involvement in WWII. The island is absolutely beautiful and I loved that the relics of the war are still there for us to see. The Pacific war memorial was also lovely. Mae-our guide- was very knowledgable and lots of fun. Unfortunately the sound and light show in Malinta Tunnel could have been great but we were unable to hear the commentary.
Overall I would highly recommend this tour for anyone, especially those who are interested in WWII history
Absolutely the best thing I did while visiting the Philippines. I am not much of a history buff, but this has definitely sparked a desire to read and study about the strategic importance of the island.
This was well organized and very interesting. Any WWII buff will especially enjoy it.
Informative tour guides resulted in lots of historical information that I would never have know if I didn't go on the tour...Thumbs Up!!
The tour was excellent, the guide was friendly and informative. Corregidor island is a must for anyone interested in World War 2 history. seeing the wrecked old building appearing out of the jungle is amazing.
Excellent informative tour with a very good guide.
I would highly recommend the experience.
This was a good tour and showed what happened here during the war. It could have been a couple of hours shorter but it was very interesting.
This was a really good trip. There is almost too much to see and do, which can make it a bit overwhelming, but still worth the experience. If you are into WWII history, this is a great trip. And, if you don't know anything about Corregidor's place in history, the tour guides and information on the boat does a good job at filling in any gaps of understanding. There is little shade when you make the various stops, so bring plenty of water to stay hydrated.
Interesting tour, guide was polished and professional but did not communicate that well. Too long sitting in the boat waiting for departure. Food for lunch average. Well worth the money.
If you think its another war tour, you are right. But what a tour and just how much more you get to learn and see about the Philippines. The guides are terrific their knowledge is extensive.
I wish now I had of stayed the night and and wandered around at my own leisure.
I booked the whole thing over the net prior to travel. Excellent collection/drop off, excellent boat crew. Great Day
