What To Expect

This private, full-day tour of the Atlas Mountains and Three Valleys starts with an early morning pickup from your hotel a little before 9a.m. Get comfortable as you begin your ride in your air-conditioned minivan to a traditional village and oil cooperative.

Continue up the mountain area with a camel ride, and take in stunning scenic views as you go. Afterward, your guide drives you up to Imlil Valley where you can rest on a terrace to enjoy a cup of Moroccan tea and a piece of cake. Your guide asks you a few options for the rest of the day, including how long of a walk you’d like to take and if you’d prefer to drive, walk, or ride a mule to your next stop.

Once you’ve decided, set out for Ait Souka Village. Lunch is waiting for you and your group. Experience a traditional Berber lunch, including salad, tajine, couscous, and fruit. At the village, follow your guide to the home of a Berber family, and learn about their culture and way of life before heading over to Moulay Brahim near the Asni Valley.

Your day ends with a quiet drive back to Marrakech. Get dropped back off at your hotel when you reach the city. Tours end at different times depending on the options you choose while in the Imlil Valley.

Please note: A minimum of two people per booking is required.

Amazing experience. Very friendly and knowledgeable guide and driver. No pressure to buy any items or tip (althought we did both due to excellent service!). Spectacular views, lots of photo opportunities and a very well planned day. Sensible shoes recommended but no need for hiking boots etc (closed toe is best). Good group of people with everyone keen to be involved. Highly recommended.

The waking between the villages. The first stop to see the aragon oil was too long. Needs more stops to take pictures.

We had a great day. Our driver was very entertainin. Enjoyed the camel ride although it could have been a bit longer. The village in the mountains and the waterfalls was a fantastic experience. Our guide Lhossain Mali was great. Explained a lot and took us after to show his village and home which made it even more a special experience. A big thanks to both for making it a fantastic day. We can really recommend this trip.

I brought a Group I was traveling with this tour. This was my second time doing this tour and I was even more pleased this time around. It seems as if they have really polished the tour. Issmail was a wonderful guide and Ibrahim was a careful driver.
Nice experience

It was very intense and memorable trip. We enjoyed a lot. The entire say was well planned by Ibrahim with waterfalls, camel rides and more. Worth the money.
Excellent tour!
Maria_E, May 2022
We had a great experience with Karim as our driving guide and Mohamed Larbi as our hiking guide. As Berber locals themselves, they had amazing knowledge of the area and the culture. They both spoke great English and accommodated us as needed (for example, by getting one person in our group who didn’t want to walk the whole way a mule to ride). The Atlas Mountains are stunning. Definitely recommend this tour!
Couldn’t have asked for more.

This tour definitely exceeded our expectations. The guide was very knowledgeable and he himself was from the Atlas Mountains. The minibus was very comfortable however the seat belt for one of us was not working which was not safe but the driver was a very good and calm driver and maneuverers the busy streets of Marrakesh and the difficult roads of Atlas Mountains very well. We felt safe throughout this trip. Bare in mind the lunch is not included (some were not aware of this) but it was very worth the 6 EUROS, considering it included water, salad, a very tasty tagine and fruits at the end and very good. We got to see the argan oil production area, ride camels in a open space, enjoy the beautiful views of Atlas mountain’s, light hike to one of the waterfalls, and finish up with Moroccan tea. Our advice is if you would like to buy anything, as the guide for advice as they can point out where is the best place to buy it and can also help get a good price for you.
