It was a lovely trek which our guide brought it to life. There were a number of scenic spots and stops on the way

We had an interesting day that gave us a picture of the countryside and the nature outside Marrakech. Lahcen Amzil was also a safe driver on the winding road. We can fully recommend this trip.

The guide was very friendly and the tour was very leisurely. Guide's English was very basic but he was really trying, so cannot fault him. This is by no means a history lesson and not really for people who are interested in a lot of communication / context. There were three stops in total, first being a ride on the camel, second being a stop at an argan oil cooperative (short intro on what argan oil is used for before being an opportunity to look around - no pressure to buy), the third stop being at the atlas mountains (the main event). We then spent the rest of the time walking around the atlas mountains at a leisurely pace.

Really fun and full day. I called the day before because I didn't get a call. They confirmed the trip and the driver, Mustafa (spelling?) was there 10 minutes early! He was great. The drivers and locals were very upset that 2 girls were killed in their area and posted aniti-terrorism posters, held a major (peaceful) anti-terrorism speaking engagement with a vigil for the girls. Needless to say, I felt safe there. The hike is approx 3.5 miles (according to my GPS) at a slow pace. There was no crazy elevation (it's the valley region, so it's gentle hills or flat). Donkey rides were available for those who didn't want to hike. But, people who rode donkeys commented that they were sore from that. you stop at the argan oil co-op before the hike and get a little food there. Then after the hike, you stop to split a tagine (it's big). the food was great and the sun was out on the rooftop terrace. After, there is a 15-20 minutes camel ride. The area is right off the road, and the ride is okay but not terribly scenic. If you're booking the trip only for the camel ride, you'll probably be disappointed. But, if you want to try it out for a bit, I think it's fine. I got back to the drop off location around 5:00/5:30 PM. Overall, a great trip and I did not feel unsafe. Enjoy!

Driver arrived on time - trip was excellent with some wonderful views and a superb guide. This is definitely an area I will return to for a longer stay. No pressure to buy anything and very friendly locals. Scenery is wonderful and the hike itself was fine, and done at a fairly leisurely pace. It’s literally like going back in time. Only reason for 3 stars is that driver got into a pointless argument with the police on the way up (holding us up by 25 minutes) and then a full on road rage incident on the way back. Totally unprofessional in that sense.

Our young guide Mustapha Amazouz gave us a super day out. Once we got up into the mountain villages, Mustapha knew just about everyone and they knew him. Mustapha introduced us to several people who made us feel really welcome. Mustapha took time to explain all about Berber culture, the crops they grow and the geographical region. Following a relatively gentle trek up the mountain, past little hamlets and waterfalls, we arrived at a Berber house where, we enjoyed terrace views of the snow capped mountains whilst eating the locally prepared traditional food. The day out was most enjoyable. Everything the company stated on the itinerary was provided and a lot more. Highly recommended, must do trip…

We really enjoyed this tour. From the camel ride to the hike through the mountains and lunch at a Berber home. Having a great guide makes all the difference - our guide was Said. He was very friendly and explained everything very well. He also made sure we felt comfortable and were having a good time. We highly recommend this tour with Said.

We had a great trip to the Atlas mountains. We were picked up at a square near our riad and taken first to ride the camels, wgwhi was quite short a ride but very pleasant. The next stop was at an argan oil place, which felt quite touristy, but the tea and snacks were nice. After about an hour's drive, we arrived in the village where we set off on a hike. First to a waterfall, then through a village and finally descended back to the valley. The hike was pretty easy even though we ascended to alnalm 2km. Wear good shoes! The lunch was served at a pleasant riad with gorgeous views. Overall, the trip was a success: the driver and the guide were very nice, the views were amazing, and there were nice shopping opportunities in the villages, but no pressure to buy anything. I would totally recommend this trip to anyone looking to get out of Marrakesh on a day trip!
