Beautiful scenery but did not get what I paid for.

I went early June and bought a trip to Ouzoud from Viator. My booking included a pickup and dropoff at my hotel, a bottled water and a guide. There might have been a confusion Because They only provided me with a transportation to the place. When we got to Ouzoud, there was still No
water bottle given and had to pay extra for the guide! If you book this trip, confirm with the company first what is included coz I definitely did not get what I paid for.
You should still see Ouzoud though. Beautiful scenery and worth the hike.
Amazing waterfalls! You could interact with the living nature - monkeys, goats and such. There's Argan farming near. Bottles of water was not included and the guys asked for some extra money for guiding us around. Highly recommended but you don't need guide, just ask the driver to take you there.
Hard to communicate with the driver/guide, if you don't speak french.
Although these falls are quite far away from Marrakesh its very much worth making the effort to go there because the falls are so good. Our day started slighter later than anticipated and the driver who had communicated the day before about meeting us at 8.30am didn't turn up but someone else came at ~9am. The change was not communicated to us, so I was slightly sceptical in the beginning. The driver who did come didn't know much English, so communication wasn't easy. He was also driving quite rashly initially but did slow down when we requested him to and then drove quite safely.
In the Ouzoud village he handed us over to a guide who took us to the falls (~2hr hike through the woods and valley which is wonderful). The falls are spectacular and the boat trip takes us really close to the falls which is indeed a wonderful experience. The guide did charge us 50Dirhams per person (we had to even pay for our children) which we thought was slightly hefty.
On return back to the village there are plenty of restaurants where one can have lunch. We were given 4hours in total which was bit too much. We were just sitting around in the sun for ~1 hour and it was too hot for us to walk around. We called the driver to come and pick us up earlier than planned but he refused to do so.It would be good if the company can cater to the needs of the
More money is needed when you are there and will rip you off

We took this trip a few days ago. The drive there and back was great, driver was very helpful, relaxed and outgoing. However, when we arrived, we were told that we need to pay for a tour guide to show us around which we thought was already paid for. We decided to use the tour guide as we wanted the full experience and were happy with what we given until we were pointed to a restaurant which was a friend of the driver and tour guide and were told to eat there as it is recommended. However , we were quickly told to order food Without a menu or price and it happened really quickly that we forgot to ask for prices. We only ordered the mains which was a small salad, kebab and chips and the bill came to 420 dirhams which is insane! At that point there was nothing we could do but to pay. It seemed that this was planned as they know tourists come with money. We were pointed to stalls that they had connections with and I’m sure they profit from it all. At the end, the tour guide wanted a higher price than what was told at the start. We paid extra as we are nice people and it was an awkward situation as the tour guide was getting upset. He expected a tip which we weren’t aware of and quite rudely told that. We felt very betrayed by the end of the journey and to make things worse, the tour guide gave us his number to advertise him for other people! Overall, the views were amazing, bring your own packed lunch, they don’t provide water and don’t take the tour guide!!!
Exciting, comfortable and well managed trip to breathtaking Ouzoud Falls trip from Marrakesh

Good conditioned transport with safe driving and friendly driver! Breathtaking views and good trek up and down the mountain to see various perspectives of the falls....Good food with reasonable rates there! Very rounded and great day trip ...enjoyed with family! Thanks to the organisers and the local operator. 👍
