This was an amazing day! We couldn't have asked for anything more. Definitely a day we will remember forever!
Absolutely amazing! The guides were welcoming, funny and informative. Lunch at the Berber village was amazingly delicious - Best tagines and couscous in Marrakech!
A great break from the city. Lunch in the mountains was an absolute highlight, not just of the day but of our entire trip to Morocco. Truly one of the best meals of my life! Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable and professional.
Excellent day tour, informative with a great guide and an amazing location for our delicious lunch
Thoroughly enjoyed this excursion, had plenty of amazing views and the tour guide was very entertaining. Would highly recommend this day trip!
Abdul was an excellent and knowledgeable guide. This is a great way to see sights beyond the usual tourist areas. Lunch is fantastic too.
Absolutely fantastic! Loved everything about this tour however the highlight of the whole day was our tour guide Mustafa. He has a heart of gold. Highly recommend this tour, be sure to wear comfy shoes as a trek is involved!
Going by the reviews this looked like the best day excursion to do whilst in Marrakesh and I and #39;m pleased to say the reviews were spot on. Mustafa was our driver and he was an entertaining guide. The highlights of the trip for me was a trek up to a waterfall and the meal at the Berber house.
Amazing tour guide Shakeeb was friendly and welcoming. Quite a trek up to the waterfall but well worth it. I would recommend good footwear with grip as it can get slippery on the rocks. The meal was delicious at the Berber house. Amazing experience highlight of my visit to Morocco!
The hike up the waterfalls was fantastic, as was the lunch in the Berber village. The scenery in general was beautiful plus the calmness and fresh air of the mountains was a nice change from the hustle and bustle of the city. Our guide Mustapha was a great guy, full of information and a good sense of humour. Would highly recommend this tour and this company.
Abdul the guide was fantastic, very honest, good English and held a great knowledge of Marrakesh and the Atlas Mountains. The tour itself was great, only part i found disappointing was the waterfall but that was mostly our fault for confusing it with the Ouzoud Falls. Minibus was clean and well kept with lots of photo opportunities as Abdul stopped regularly and took photos of the group. The stop for food was brilliant view and the food quality, Abdul also gave advice on how to deal with the annoying people who try to sell you rubbish on the mountain. Brilliant for the price and would definitely recommend. Bring a good camera and zoom lens and you will be able to get some fantastic shots of the lake and mountain
this is an original day trip ,where you can see the original morrocoan people and how they live in the mountains. Not a tourist trap, but the real thing! You should definitely take that day trip!
This was a fantastic tour, we really enjoyed it. The guide was very knowledgeable of the area and was very easy to understand. Would definitely recommend this tour to anyone.
Great trip. Would recommend for anyone, knoweldgeable and experienced guides. Great food and amazing scenery.
My husband and thoroughly enjoyed this day trip. Abdul was an amazing guide and very knowledgable of the local area. Loved lunch at the Berger house lots of lovely memories
Excellent day trip, lovely guide and the home-made food was incredible. Thank you so much!
absolutely breath taking, superb and fantastic!! Loved every second of our amazing trip! Our guide Abdul was extremely knowledgable, hospitable, very kind and funny and made us feel like part of family. Highly recommended to anyone who is looking for that special non crowded true Morrocon experience
This tour was amazing! Definitely worth every penny!!! Just make sure you wear a good pair of hiking/tennis shoes as there is a little bit of climbing to get to the waterfall.
This tour was amazing. Abdul was our guide, and he was perfect. We could not have asked for anyone more knowledgeable or passionate about Moroccan culture. Abdul was also extremely kind. We first went to hike a waterfall, which was beautiful. We saw the countryside as well. The highlight of the trip was having lunch in a Berber village in a local's home. I cannot say enough good things about Abdul and how much we appreciated him. I have already recommended this tour and Abdul to friends who are thinking about visiting Marrakech.
Absolutely loved it! Fascinating to see the villages and mountain people. Felt like I and #39;d gone back in time hundreds of years. The people were friendly as well.
Our guide, Mustafa, was interesting, entertaining and really accommodating. He catered for our needs and interests. Really recommend it!!
Must see! Awesome tour, great views and wonderful lunch spot! So delicious.
This tour was a highlight of my whole 4 weeks in Spain and Morocco. Our guide spoke excellent English, and as he came from a Berber village himself, really gave us an unequaled insight into Berber culture and village life. The first valley was very pleasant, and the waterfall quite pleasant, but the climb up isn't easy. I stopped before the top as I am not a good climber. It was the trip over the mountains and into the second valley that was the real highpoint of the day, in particular lunch at a house in a Berber village. Virtually everything we ate was grown and prepared on the premises including the cous cous made out of locally grown wheat and hand prepared. I particularly enjoyed the small group experience. The High Atlas was spectacular and this tour is highly recommended. Note that the optional extra visit mentioned in the name of this tour was never actually offered.
This tour was amazing! We were picked up and dropped off to our hotel on time. Our tour guide Shakib was friendly, knowledgeable and made the trip really enjoyable. We got to see a lot in one day and the climb up Ourika valley was quite the challenge for those who are unfit or have short legs at least but well worth the climb. The views were amazing and lunch with a local Berber family was great. Lunch cost extra which was more than we normally pay but I was happy to pay extra knowing that it is supporting local people plus with the exchange rate actually it was a average priced decent lunch. Hospitality was great. Overall, a fantastic tour and well worth it!
Excellent. Our guide Abdul was so knowledgeable and friendly.
Lunch was amazing and in a stunning location.
We just loved the day.
Wear suitable footwear as the walk to the waterfall was steep and slippery. I suggest trainers or something with grip.
