We are experienced travelers and with this perspective, I can confidently say that the 10+ hour all-day trip to Four Valleys outside of Marrakech, Morocco with Abdul I and Abdul II on Saturday, January 27, 2018, booked through Viator, was one of the very best in all of these years. We hiked up a mountain pass to a waterfall, crossing ravines on rickety wooden bridges, had lunch with a Berber family in their home in a remote village above the snow line, visited an authentic market far away from any tourists and stopped for short hikes and photo ops at numerous vistas. Our guide, Abdul I was respectful, courteous, knowledgeable, helpful and a great photographer who loved my new iPhone X’s camera. On a scale of 0-10, he was a 10+. Abdul II was our guide up the mountain on a moderately strenuous hike to a waterfall. He was amazing – helpful, courteous and full of energy. My husband was the senior member of the group, and became a bit nervous at one point about traversing a ravine on a wooden slat bridge that was uneven and had missing slats. Abdul II organized a second person to help him over to the other side, rather than have to turn back. My daughter was so happy that he “made it” and Abdul II could not have been more helpful. He was 10+, too. Overall, I can not say enough nice things about this tour and would hope that others will experience this magical day in Morocco with these wonderful men in this most amazing country.
Our daughter, who lives in the north of England with her husband, has used Viator for a number of her trips throughout Europe and recommended this company to us. I am glad that she did. We had no worries about the reliability of the guides even before the trip began.
Excellent tour! Our guide Mr. lollipop was knowledgeable, polite and funny. We learned a lot about Morocco, Marrakech, high atlas area, Islam etc. Lunch was in an interesting place and very tasty. We saw a lot nice local life, beatifull mountains, snowy areas, nice waterfall etc. Highly recommended!
Ismail was our guide, very knowledgable, funny which made the drive (2hrs) very pleasant. Stopped at amazing spots to take pictures and told us interesting facts abot Morocco. The views are spectacular and indescribable.Food was bliss. Loved every second especially thesnowball fight with Berber kids!
The highlight of our trip in Morocco was this day trip! A must do for everyone! Beautiful, picturesque, authentic and a peaceful juxtaposition from the chaotic medina. Ismail was an amazing guide and driver, and the hiking guides on the tour were incredibly helpful and kind. Lunch at a Berber family home was an experience like no other. And Ismail finished the trip with a trip to a Berber flea market. I highly recommend this adventure to people of all ages!!
The trip was amazing. Ismail was very prompt to arrive at our hotel in Medina. He was very knowledgeable about the areas we visited and had a very positive attitude. In the first valley we had another tour guide, Abdul, who took us up to the waterfall and he made sure everyone is moving at their own pace as the climb was difficult in some parts. The food we had at the berber village was amazing and plentiful. Overall it was a superb experience and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to see the Atlas mountains up close but does not have more than a day to spend there.
This was really impressive. Great views and a delicious luch at a berber village.
Awesome tour made even more special by our guide/driver Tarik and the group of people on our tour. The highlight of the day was driving through the Atlas Mountains on our way to have a Berber lunch. No way would I try to drive on those mountain roads. Never once did I feel nervous with Tarik behind the wheel.
I was surprised when the driver and organizer Mohsin picked me up with and SUV and I was the only one in the tour so it felt like private tour. The hike to the waterfall was amazing and thanks to the local guide Abdul who really helped through the walk it was slippery at some part. The villages in the valleys are beautiful. We stopped in several point with nice view mount Atlas with snow top. However the trip highlight was the lunch cooked by the Berber villagers. The most delicious tangine and couscous I ever had in Morocco.

Really excellent tour! I was lucky to get a private tour with Abdul, who runs this business with his brother. Abdul speaks excellent English and is keen to learn new words, he is very knowledgeable about Morocco, very keen to share details, history and stories. This trip takes an excellent route through the High Atlas, including a visit to a village from where a local guide takes you on the hike to view the waterfalls. This is a real hike which includes some scrambling up rocks and requires moderate fitness - be prepared with suitable footwear. I was driven in a very new and comfortable Toyota Lancruiser and Abdul is happy to stop for photos any time and stops at the best places anyway. He is also very good at taking photos of you / your group with the scenery in the background and takes pride in this! The lunch with a local family really was the highlight - very tasty food with breathtaking views from the roof of a Berber house. Thank you for an amazing and memorable tour!
Great trip. Ismail is a great guide and driver. Very nice atosphere, beautiful views. The lunch we ate was delicious. I recommend it!!
