Loved this experience. From hotel pick up, to balloon lift off then the soft set down it was perfect. We had an amazing female pilot and really enjoyed the traditional breakfast. The time in the balloon was incredible. Soft floating watching the sun rise and the moon set all at the same time. Watchin g the other balloons with the backdrop of the Atlas mountains and Marrakesh was fantastic.

I will not be using Viator again or recommending this particular service. What a shame that the only contact I had with the organisers was the day before when it was too late to discuss the trip - this is utterly wrong. All my emails were ignored. Viator charged me and I am unable to get a £300 refund as they have refused to engage, citing company policy. The only bad thing about our trip to Marrakesh was this part of the holiday. This will be shared on trip advisor to warn fellow travellers.

Dear Katherine, Thank you for your review. I was expecting your bad review like you threatened but was expecting you to tell the truth at least. You booked indeed our tour with Viator and wanted to cancel it for x reason in the 24 hours before the flight, however we made everything ready for you and confirmed the pick up time with you after checking the weather forecast. As know the Viator rule says that any cancellation in the 24 hours before the excursion is 100% fee. You passed me on the phone your husband who was threatening me with making bad review on trip advisor. But those are Viator’s the rules and we can t do anything about it. I would’ve given 5 stars but our driver decided a smoke break for more than 15 minutes before dropping us off.

The sunset was absolutely beautiful and our pilot was great. She took some amazing pictures and had a great playlist playing while we were watching the sunrise.

Wonderful experience. We were picked up at our hotel at 6am by Hassan. A very friendly and accommodating driver. We were taken to the camp where the balloons were. They gave us really nice coffee and tea before the flight. Then we were loaded into the balloons. I think 16 to a basket. They do it for weight distribution. But it’s not crowded. The flight was incredible. Flying over the desert by the mountains was magical. Antoine our pilot was funny and excellent. We landed and we’re given a flight certificate lol. Then transported back to the camp for an awesome breakfast. Would definitely recommend this experience

We got up very early The driver was a-bit late maybe 15 minutes his name Reda he was amazing very nice and knowledgeable, pleasant and so thoughtful the place was nice and clean we had a little problem when it was the time to get in the balloon they were a bit not organized moving people here and there took long time to figure out how to divide us, which should be organized before by knowing how-many persons in each party then assigning them Saying that it was a great experience which we enjoyed

Picture yourself soaring in the sky, overlooking the beautiful Atlas mountains, when the incredible sunrise take your breath away. And all you see around are another balloons appearing here and there. Just amazing. I can't recommend this experience more The organization was great, people friendly and helpful. Fantastic.
Fantastic balloon adventure

What a great way to spend your morning even if you do have to get up at 4:00 a.m. . The company was right on time picking me up and brought me out to the staging area to watch the balloons being blown up. Met some really nice people and having some coffee we chatted for a while and then entered our balloon basket. We were the largest balloon there and it was so exciting to rise up thousands of feet in the air and then to watch the sun come up. Wow. Definitely a must do

We were picked up at 5 am and taken good care of . All the team were excellent and helpful throughout. The ballon experience was safe and breathtaking , the food and drink was treaty and authentic, special thanks to the lady pilot and crew mate for the birthday gift. 10/10!!!

The flight was a maximum of 20mins (when advertised 40-50mins up to an hour) and didn’t go very high. The operators said it was because of weather and the airport (?!) but other operators next to us were up longer and higher!

Dear, Thank you for your feedback, we appreciate it. Every flight is unique. There is always a reason why the pilot takes one or another decision. Another operators took off earlier and they got another direction. It was not necessary for us to go up, catch very quick wind and face rocks. We caught sunrise, we were on time with it and everybody onboard were happy. Yes, the flight was a little bit short. GPS showed 39 minutes, but it was for a reason. The decision for landing was taken by the pilot because of the power lines nearby. Safety of our passengers is first. With this come joy and happiness.
A peaceful & serene experience

Prior to the day communication was not great, we got confirmation of pickup time and location the night before. However after that everything was very smooth and well organised. The arrival point was magical at that time of the morning. Our pilot Laís was very friendly and alot of fun. The flight itself was amazing, so peaceful and serene. It was quite cloudy the day went and the high atlas were not visible but the weather cannot be controlled. It didn't matter, it was still a fantastic experience. Highly recommend. Although shop around because everyone on our trip seemed to pay different amounts for the same experience. Between 140 - 200.

Amazing experience. We were picked up at the nearest point to the Medina which is not accessible by car. We were taken to the balloon flight site and had a coffee+tea and croissant. We rode in the balloon with a very funny and hospitable host and after, tried many Moroccan bread dishes in a breakfast experience. Would definitely recommend

The trip was all I wanted and more! Only downside was waiting at another hotel for a delayed pick up of other people going on the trip. Buy once we were there the staff were amazing, our pilot was so warm and funny!! The start of the trip getting the balloon up was far more exciting than I had envisaged!! Overall a brilliant trip, and well worth the money when you see how much goes into it with the logistics and crew they named to follow the balloon in 4x4s.

The whole experIence was seamless from hotel pickup to drop off. Really enjoyed the flight. Never done it before. It was lovely drifting gently across the desert in the early morning with the mountains touched by sunrise. Coffee and croissants beforehand were delicious and so was Berber breakfast on return. Not fussed by short camel ride at another place on the way back. But it did let me know I wouldn’t do a long ride!

Loved this experience! It was smooth from pick up to drop off, right at our hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great and the ride itself was spectacular. The beautiful sunrise over the mountains is something we'll remember forever

Worse ever! Charged us and we didn’t even receive the service as they confirm at 605am and we were suppose to leave at 615 am the same day. Now trying to fight to get my money back.

Make time for this outing

Very easy transport to and from the launch point. The ride was beautiful and the pilot was awesome. I had hoped to see a bit more of the mountains but the view was still great. The traditional Berber breakfast afterwards was a very nice touch.

Just returned from Marrakech and what a great way to start 2020. The whole process, from pickup at the hotel, to the early morning tea (Its cold in the AM), the ride itself, breakfast, and dropoff was well planned and flawless. The pilot, Maria was fantastic. She is funny and makes the experience so great.
