Begin your experience with a pickup from your central Marrakech hotel. Meet your friendly driver, hop inside your comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle with the rest of your small group, and set off for your first destination — a traditional Berber home.

Be welcomed by the friendly family who live in the house, and sit down for a delicious, freshly brewed mint tea — a staple in Morocco. As you sip, chat to the family members about their daily lives and the customs they follow.

Next, return to your vehicle and drive to the Palmeraie, a picturesque palm grove on the fringes of the city. Be shown to your camel and learn how these hardy desert animals have been used for transport in Morocco for centuries thanks to their ability to travel long distances without water.

After a safety briefing, climb into the saddle on the back of the camel and relax as you enjoy a ride through the verdant palms and sands. Take photos of the views as the sun descends through the sky and absorb the serenity of the surroundings as you saunter through the grounds.

After your ride, drive back to your hotel where your experience ends.

Highlight of our trip!

We absolutely loved this! The camels were sweet (some even had little ones nearby) and it was the perfect time of the day to go (slightly breezy, less sunny). The palm grove at sunset was magical and I would highly recommend this!

This trip is a fantastic experience. From getting to know your camel to the lovely mint tea served at the berber Village. But most of all the sunset is breathtaking

I thoroughly enjoyed this short and sweet camel ride at sunset. Driver picked me up at nearest possible location in the medina, guide was fabulous and driver returned me and ensured I knew my way back to my riad. A good experience all around, and good value.
Overpriced but Ok

The trip is only one hour of riding, half hour of tea and half hour of transfer. Kids charged full price but have to share a camel. Guide was great but not much to work with as walking area pretty boring. Berber stop is ok.

Great experience especially if you have never been on a camel. Tour was very well organized and our guide driver/guide Avil was great.

Hicham Lamkehouane, our guide was fabulous, we all got onto the camels and laughed and sang. Hicham made us all camel rings. The camels were well cared for and well fed. We loved the Berber House.. the fresh bread and olives were delicious. We all really enjoyed ourselves. One of the girls got frightened and Hicham was so kind to her. It was a fabulous trip and We would recommend it to anyone.

This was a great experience but found it too long on the camel. Wasn't expecting to be tethered to the other camels and found this a little disappointing as we just walked for about an hour in a train through an 'oasis'. Did it for a birthday experience and will not forget it but not sure I'd do this trip again if I'm honest. The berber house was an experience but left me puzzled as was given conflicting local knowledge than on a previous experience. The host of the Berber house tea and bread visit was very hospitable and friendly. Tour guide was friendly. Was a group of 7.
