Discover a series of cascading falls in the heart of the Grand Atlas on a full-day trip to Ouzoud Waterfalls from Marrakech. Leave the city behind for a landscape of olive orchards and red cliffs, pause for mint tea at a scenic natural bridge and spot monkeys playing at the edge of the falls. Enjoy time to hike and have lunch before returning from Ouzoud Waterfalls to Marrakech.
Meet your guide at your Marrakech hotel, and enjoy the 2.5-hour drive to Ouzoud Waterfall in a comfortable, private vehicle. Take a break along the way at Imi-n-Ifri natural bridge, where slow moving water has carved a stunning archway across a deep, ochre canyon—this is the perfect time to explore a bit and sit down for a traditional glass of Moroccan mint tea.
Continue to the Ouzoud Waterfalls, where you can follow your guide on a short walk around the cascades, then keep looking around at your own pace. Find the monkeys that call Ouzoud home, or travel across the base of the falls on a hand operated ferry boat. Learn how locals use the powerful river to grind grain or hike to the top of a nearby cliff for perfect views of the green and red scenery.
You’ll have time to stop for lunch at one the restaurants perched at the edge of the river before meeting up with your driver for the return trip to Marrakech.
