What You Can Expect

Pearl Harbor Memorial Tour From Maui

USS Bowfin Submarine Museum at Pearl Harbor

Start your day by arriving at the Maui airport at least 1.5-hours prior to your flight to the the nearby island Oahu. You’ll enjoy a short flight to Honlulu, where you’ll be greeted by a trip representative who will provide you tickets for the day plus a short orientation.

Continue then on a transfer from the airport to the Pearl Harbor site, where you’ll be transferred by boat to the USS Arizona Memorial. Your skip-the-line entry allows you to bypass some of the long lines typically waiting for entrance at this famous historical attraction.

Head next to Pearl Harbor’s Road to War Museum, where you can explore a range of historical exhibits chronicling the events of World War II at your own pace on a self-guided tour. This includes a chance to view film footage captured on the day of the Pearl Harbor attack in December 1941.
Head next to the USS Bowfin, where you’ll get the chance to take another self-guided audio tour of this World War II-era submarine. At the end of your trip inside the sub you’ll also get an audio set and pass inside the Bowfin’s on-site museum.

Your Pearl Harbor discovery continues with a stop at the USS Missouri battleship, located just off Ford Island. Choose between another self-guided tour of this iconic naval vessel, or opt for a 30-minute guided tour lead by a live guide.

Wrap up your visit to Pearl Harbor by heading into Honolulu for a city sightseeing tour, time permitting. You’ll check out city landmarks like the State Capital, Iolani Palace, King Kamehameha Statue, and the city’s first church. Finish your day by heading back to the Honolulu airport for your flight back to Maui.

lots of expectations not met...first off in today's environment there is no way to avoid TSA...we had to pass through the same TSA lines as everyone...we also were picked up, given our tickets and basically left on our own to get around to all the memorial stuff...turned out OK and we had time to tour town on the way back to airport which was nice...biggest disappointment was that we only got to ride a boat out in front of the AZ memorial because they are rebuilding the dock so could not actually visit the memorial...would have been nice to tell us this at booking as this was the one thing we really were looking forward to. Missouri tour was nice, but a poor second indeed.
