Begin your private tour on your terms with a flexible morning departure time. Meet your guide at your hotel in Medellín and take a short drive to Pueblito Paisa, a traditional Colombian village within the city. Use your free time here to shop for souvenirs at street markets, sample local snacks (own expense), and take in a panoramic view of the Medellín Valley.
Rejoin your group to travel downtown and get a dose of urban culture, visiting the Zen-inspired Barefoot Park, the Park of Lights, and Botero Plaza, home to 23 massive bronze statues by a local artist.
After a couple hours of guided sightseeing, head for the hills and enter the Andes coffee region. Take a quick break in the town of Titiribi, where you can spot Tusa Peak on the horizon — one of the earth’s rare natural pyramids.
Continue your ascent to a coffee farm, where you can wander freely around the farm, taking photos and meet the farmers who harvest berries for your favorite morning beverage. After you are done at the coffee plantation, your guide will drive you to Jardin village. You will have the opportunity to stop for a tasty traditional lunch included in the price of your tour. The cable car will take you up the hill for about a mile for outstanding views of cozy Jardin village in the middle of the Andes coffee trail. Then, sit and relax in the colorful plaza with a free cup of coffee from a local café. Enjoy the views for 20 or 30 minutes before heading back down to the village in the cable car.
When the time comes, travel back to your hotel in Medellín or request a drop-off at any location nearby or on the way.
