Spend a full day exploring the natural wonders of Australia’s Great Ocean Road. Onboard narration is available in many different languages through the Go West Tours app.
The Great Ocean Road officially begins at Torquay, a famous surf town of gorgeous, sandy beaches. Stop at a beachside location before continuing through several charming port towns before stopping at Great Otway National Park, which boasts ancient trees among a semitropical forest.
The coastal landscape comes to a dramatic climax at Port Campbell National Park, where you can gawk at the Twelve Apostles—a grouping of massive limestone pillars that rise up out of the ocean.
The rugged cliffs along the Great Ocean Road once made for perilous navigation for vessels sailing into the port of Melbourne. Hear the tragic tales of Australia’s ‘Shipwreck Coast’ and visit Loch Ard Gorge, the postcard-worthy site of a notorious 1878 shipwreck.
Finally, view the Gibson's Steps for a dramatic example of the power of erosion. Take in the incredible cliff line and offshore stacks before continuing on your drive back to Melbourne.
Stop for dinner (own expense) on the return drive to Melbourne. Relax on the ride back to your hotel, or share snapshots of the day with family and friends using the coach’s free onboard Wi-Fi.
Enjoy an included morning tea at the famous seaside town of Torquay.
The most famous location on the Great Ocean Road, you'll marvel at these amazing limestone formations. Your guide will even take you to Gibson Steps for a chance to view them with sand between your toes!
Michael, our tour guide/driver, was very informative, helpful, and kind. Not only was he knowledgeable about the areas to which he took us but also led us through the rain forest, the Twelve Apostles site, and the Loch Ard Gorge. He was constantly helping us by taking our cameras/phones and having us pose while he took the pictures. He even used his own mobile phone to take pictures of me when my camera ran out of memory! He then e-mailed those photos to me. My only regret is that we didn't have a longer time at each of our stops... but that would have made the tour much, much longer.
Mel is a really nice guide and we had a lot of fun listening to her jokes. She also gave us a lot of information about the places we visited. The music made it to a more intense experience.
The forest walk wasn't that interesting and we would have liked instead a little more time at the Gibson Steps.
Everything else was really nice and we enjoyed the day with cool and relaxed people and we didn't have to worry that much about the whole virus-thing back home, eventhough there was santisizer for everyone. :)
Absolutely brilliant. We had am amazing day. It was so full on, and well timed. Our tour guide, Corey, was just brilliant. What a lovely young man. He should get a job in New Zealand. 😊.
The weather was cold and wet, but it did not dampen our sprits.
Great scenery, surprising wildlife sightings and a great tour guide, Mike C.

It is a long day ride, but the scenery is worth it! Driving down the Ocean road to the Apostles had many beautiful views of the coast line, rain forest and and mountain valleys. Just a hint, if you can, the left side windows have he best views of the ocean. I only wish we could have spent more time on more outlooks and beaches. Mike our tour guide/driver tried to make our day full of highlights and he succeeded! The Great Ocean Road, the Apostles, the Gorge, The bonus was the sightings of koalas, and wallabies in the wild.
Tour was long but awesome. Paul was our guide and made the trip interesting.
My only recommendation for the company that was used is that the buses are small and there is very little legroom and no space for bags.
Great trip Leonie was a great tour guide. If you go, ask for her. She made our trip fun. We are all seniors and they all do not have emails but asked me to make sure everyone knows we enjoyed the ride and tour guide. We took other tours and there is no comparison. We had a clean van, coffee; tea and fun. Thanks
Mike C was an incredible guide! Always smiling and making sure we were having the best time possible.
The tour itself was perfect for a day, you can't really ask for more. We were lucky enough to see a low-hanging koala on the side of the road--Mike stopped the bus immediately to let us enjoy its presence!

The Great Ocean Road, Otway Ranges National Park and the 12 Apostles'.
It is a long day but most enjoyable, our host and guide 'Sophie' was brilliant, informative knowledgeable and funny. A journey of approximately 600kms [approx. 383 miles] in 12 packed hours, of sights to see, things to learn and memories never to be forgotten
A very well organized tour that takes you to see some amazing sights along an incredibly beautiful stretch of the coastline - the "twelve" apostles were breathtaking. The trip also affords participants a visit into the Australian rain forest, which was a special treat. Cloe was an amazing tour guide and she kept us all on informed, played great music and had a schedule with just the right number of (bathroom) breaks. The only issue - my seat over the wheel well was very cramped.
