Why Travelers Choose This Tour

Tastings at the Mornington Peninsula’s boutique establishments ensures a more varied experience.
An easy day trip from Melbourne, Mornington Peninsula offers an abundance of local flavor and beachside charm. After morning pickup at a central location, relax in an air-conditioned minibus. Stop at Arthur's Seat for expansive views of Port Phillip Bay and Victoria's dramatic coastline.

Visit a cellar door to taste cool-climate varietals like pinot gris and pinot grigio. Admire the beautiful scenery of rolling hills as you learn about the winemaking process.

Continue on to a strawberry farm to indulge in an array of fruit-flavored treats, including strawberry wine, cider, and liquor, chocolate-dipped strawberries and juicy, fresh-picked berries during harvest season.

Pop in at a charming boutique dairy to sample a variety of creamy goat cheeses and say hello to the resident herd of goats that provide the milk.

After your delicious day, relax on the return drive to Melbourne, where you'll be dropped off back at the original departure point.

Mornington Peninsula National Park
Enjoy a day filled with some of the best things in life! Wine production in the Mornington Peninsula region dates back to 1886 and is uniqely recognised for producing high quality cool climate varieties, similar to those of the great wine producing regions of France.
Stop At:
T'Gallant
Our first tasting for the day is at the wonderful T'Gallant winery, where you will get the opportunity to try a variety of styles. It began in 1990 with the planting of Pinot Grigio vines at two vineyards on the Mornington Peninsula. To their surprise, the wines made from the different vineyards showed two distinctive expressions of the same grape variety. One had a crisp Pinot Grigio style typical of northern Italy, while the other showed richer, more luscious characters typical of Pinot Gris in northern France This discovery inspired them to venture to Friuli in Italy and Alsace in France to learn more about the remarkable Pinot Gris grape variety and to witness its true versatility of styles. Today Pinot Gris/Grigio is one of Australia's most popular varietals and T'Gallant has continued a tradition of producing benchmark examples alongside other fresh, food-friendly wines with personality ever since.

This is excellent value for money. The wineries visited were lovely. The Chocolatier in Flinders is devine and the lunch was particularly good. The only thing that was a little disappointing was the visit to the strawberry farm - it was the beginning of the season and it was way too busy for a group to descend upon - it was utter chaos. Probably would be worth cutting out the strawberry farm and spending more time in Flinders to check out the little shops in town. The coach company Wildlife Tours were excellent. Would certainly recommend this tour.

Our guide Grant was entertaining and knowledgeable and the group were good fun. The produce at Gateway was delicious, Cider, wine, chocolate all delicious, lunch at Rochford Estate lovely. Sun was shining a lovely day out in the country
