Mornington Peninsula Winery Tour Including Wine Tastings and 2-Course Lunch from Melbourne

Mornington Peninsula Wine Tasting

Meet your guide and small group of no more than 11 people at St Paul's Cathedral in central Melbourne, in time for a 9.30am departure. Traveling by comfortable air-conditioned minivan, set out on the around 1-hour drive.

Admire the views as you pass through the sloping vineyards, orchards, and patchwork farmlands of the Mornington Peninsula, then arrive at the Port Phillip Estate for the first wine tasting of the day. Learn more about Australian wine and the grape varieties grown in the Mornington Peninsula wine region, as you sip homegrown Port Phillip wines, and enjoy spectacular views over the vineyards.

Continue to the T’Gallant winery, where you’ll be treated to a delicious 2-course lunch of wood-fired pizza, followed by a decadent dessert and accompanied by a glass of wine.

After lunch, visit Red Hill Estate to sample their award-winning boutique wines, followed by Quealy Winemakers, where you’ll have chance to meet the winemakers, enjoy a wine tasting, and take a tour of the winery.

After a busy day of wine tasting, return to the city, where your tour ends back in central Melbourne.

David our guide was quite good but with one exception the wineries we visited were large commercially oriented .It was only the last winery visited, Queely, that we felt offered a true understanding of the vinyards and winemakers of the mornington Peninsular.
