A whole Australian visit wrapped into one tour! Our first encounter with wallabies was superb and the sanctuary was enjoyably tranquil. Then on to a delightful visit at the farm with numerous demos and picturesque scenery. The whip-cracking guy was a bit over the top for my tastes but others found him funny. On to the Antarctic exhibit which was quite interesting. After the tour we went outside where there were numerous penguin nests along the boardwalk. As we were there during moulting season many penguins were by their homes so we were able to get pictures. Then to the day's highlight - the penguin parade. Viewing was good wherever you sat in the VIP area but we lucked out with seats right at the corner where they came around from the beach to march up the hill. It starts slow with two or three then they arrive by the dozens. Their little voices calling to each other are priceless! FYI there are no cameras, videos, phone pics or any other devices allowed for the health and safety of the penguins. Pickup and drop off from our hotel was easy too.
Our driver Adrian did a superb job . My daughter love this tour !
The tour is well planned and organized. The local tour operator's coach is comfortable. Our tour guide Geoff is friendly and lively. I would consider to join this company's tour again in future.
a great expereence
The tour was amazing. My 3 year old enjoyed the tour especially the sanctuary and Churchill Island. However, as the day is shorter in winter, we could only spend an hour at the sanctuary and farm. Wished we had more time at the sanctuary.
They are so cute! Lovely!
