This was a fantastic tour! Dave was great and very entertaining. We loved the opportunity to feed the kangaroos and wallabies. The winery was fun and had great snacks. The highlight of course was the penguin parade and that was so much fun. I wish I had known ahead of time that we weren't allowed to take pictures of the actual event, but it also allowed me to just watch and appreciate. I loved the small group and think it's a much more pleasant experience than in a large, impersonal group.
Very good tour. The bus driver / tour guide was great nothing was too much trouble for him and he gave us very informative information along the way. 10 out of 10 for Callum.
Our tour guide was entertaining and make the trip interesting, worth the price and the penguin experience was awesome. I love the time spent at Moonlight Sanctuary too, up close with Kangaroo and Koala. The tour guide give us enough time to spend time with the cute animals. Wine tasting session was good too, even though it did get a little bored. Too bad there was no chocolate factory visit for our trip..
Great experience and well worth it - amazing to see these small penguins on their daily return and so close by
Easy, relaxing and unrushed. Perfect if you and #39;re travelling with children or elderly. I went alone and still enjoyed it since I didn and #39;t expect it to be action-packed. Moonlit Sanctuary is smaller than many other bigger places to see animals, but good enough. Penguins are cute and worth seeing.
had very bad weather, yet our guide was extremely friendly, and the events/destinations are well spread out with enough time at every place. would definitely do it again when the weather is better!
This was a very well-paced and worthwhile tour. Visiting the Moonlit Sanctuary park provided some nice opportunities for getting close to well-fed kangaroos and other Australian animals. The winery offered a nice break before the penguin parade at sunset. And of course, the penguins: they took their time appearing, but were a delight when they did. The guide, Daniel, clearly loves Melbourne and enjoys his job, and he made sure to address everyone's needs. Overall, a good day out, and a good value.
What a great tour! We loved the Moonlight Sanctuary. I could have spent all day there, but the best part of the day was the Penguin Parade. We must have seen close to 800 penguins in that evening! They're so tiny and hilarious 3 I highly recommend GoWest and any of their wonderful tours. This was an experience I will never forget.
weather not good on the day but we had lucky breaks when needed.
Penguins lived up to their reputation and gave a good show for all
Although the trip is a long one, it is well worth it to see this amazing event. It is worth the extra fee to have a guided tour, as it allows seating very close to the water and the walk path of the Penguins. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and cheerful, but also allowed us to rest on the return trip. Don't miss this beautiful tour.
This was an amazing tour and it was my second time and I enjoyed it even more as we were closer to the penguins this time. We paid to be closer but it was well worth it. They are so cute. This was a smaller tour and very enjoyable. Highly recommend this tour.
Philip our guide and driver was fantastic! All aorund exceelent tour and journey!
The penguin parade was awesome. We took the ranger guided tour and were glad we did. The information provided, and a chance to see the penguins meet and greet each other outside their burrows was fascinating.
Wonderful experience. The highlight of course being the penguins. Very comfortable transport and knowledgeable guide and driver. Would highly recommend.
Our tour guide made this trip!!! He was knowledgeable and friendly. Name of Dane if anyone wants to know. My only criticism is that there was too much packed into the day. One less stop would have made the day more relaxed for me.
Very nice day in the countryside. We loved the stops - lunch in the trout farm where we also learned a little about Australia plants , Koala recovery center where we could photograph koalas in their natural environment high on eucalyptus tops get a good lense and the Penguins Discovery Center. What was promised was delivered and the tour size was small - 24 people.
This is a must-do tour...long day tho as the penguins dont come ashore until dusk and then the drive back is long..definitely should go for the Group eco tour..takes you to the front line on the sand with binoculars to watch the parade..fantastic..don't miss
I would highly recommend the guided ranger tour for the penguin parade. Personally I would have skipped the dinner stop in Cowes to spend more time at the site of the penguin parade. This is food at the visitors center and well as interesting information on the penguins as well as the gift shop.
Great tour, really worth to join. The driver same person as the guide is experienced and professional. He made much fun to the tour. Lunch is good and delicious. The white and red wine as well as cheese tasting also impressed me very much. Of course, the little penguins are the highlight. They are very cute and lovely! Be reminded that to bring a thick cloth when awaiting to see the Penguin Parade at the viewing platform. Otherwise, you will be freeze!
