Get yourself up early and go on this tour. Being at Chichén Itzá early, before the crowds, makes all the difference. Our wonderful, patient guide was the best.
Great Maya adventure

The tour participants were from 5 countries that was special. Alejandro (Alex) was a great guide and provided flexibility to trip. The private cenote was incredible because was an underground cave and arriving early at Chicenitza avoided crowds with great pictures. Visit to Izmala was good to see another Maya ruin and the yellow town.

Alex was the best tour guide I could have imagined. He has a proud Mayan heritage and is so knowledgeable about his culture’s history. Going early was well worth it! And the family cenote is such a unique experience you won’t find anywhere else. Just book it!

This tour was a great choice for us! So happy we got there at the opening before the crowds arrived. Our guide, Delio, was very kind and gave us a good tour at Chichen Itza. The lunch and cenote in Sotuta with the local family was very enjoyable. We had a wonderful small group of travelers that we enjoyed meeting. The pick up and return both went smoothly. We would highly recommend this tour! Thanks for the memorable day!

The early departure was worth it, because we were the first folks in the park. Alejandro, our guide, really brought the story of the Maya to life. The cenote and lunch were great. Izamal was incredibly interesting. It was a very rewarding excursion!

A very well-organised trip. We were literally the first people to enter Chichen Itza that day which made for a lovely experience - worth the early start. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly and answered any questions we had. Visiting the private cenote was such a great experience. The water was beautiful and the homemade food delicious! Would highly recommend this trip to anyone.

Alex was a great tourguide, very knowledgeable in the mayan history and the sorroundings of the yucatan peninsula. The mix of chichen itza, the cenote experience and visiting the magic town of izamal brings and unforgettable experience.

The tour was very informative, organized and a lot of fun! Alejandro was a great tour guide, and we enjoyed getting to know the other people on the tour. It was nice getting to Chichen Itza before the crowds. The homemade lunch and backyard cenote was amazing!

Don't waste your time if you want Cenote Yokdzonot

So had we done the tour we paid for- meaning the cenote YOKDZONOT- instead of someone's backyard cenote- I would have given this tour a 4. But once again- false advertising! An overpriced lunch was an additional charge. Which really- ok - I don't mind being gringo priced to help a poor family BUT I highly object wasting my precious holiday time on going to the wrong location!! I booked this tour to go to a particular cenote. The backyard cenote does not compare!! Chicken Itza and Izamal are best seen in another tour The only reason I give this tour any stars at all is for the guide Alejandro who was highly informative & would be much better off working for a more reputable business! He's great!!

Hello, it's been a long time since we stoped going to Yokdzonot, sorry the missunderstanding in the advertisement. We already took care of the wrong information, however we disagree in some facts, like gringo prices. We don't charge extra prices to anybody, In this tour has been people from many parts of the world and all have paid the same price. The family and the cenote that we visit is unique and off the beaten path, not touristy and is a very good way to meet a local family who by a stroke of luck found a cenote in their backyard and taste very good home made traditional food, WE have been to many cenotes like Yokdzonot, but never like the one with the family.. Thanks for you star to Alex, he is very good, that is the reason you can see his name in many five stars reviews, we take care of him very well.

Aside from the +90° temperatures, we had an amazing time on this tour! Our tour guide Hernan was very knowledgeable of all three sites that we visited and gave a comprehensive background presentation for each one. Of you are a history buff, I would highly recommend this tour.

Very nice to travel in a small group. It is an early start but worth it to arrive before the heat and the crowds. The cenote part of the excursion was very special including the home made lunch, and it was great to top off the trip with a stop in Izumanl. Overall, a great day.
