Your day trip begins with hotel pickup between 5:30am and 6am, when you’ll board an air-conditioned vehicle destined for the colonial village of Homún — about a 1-hour drive away.
On arrival in Homún, you’ll embark on a tour of the colonial village, famed for its charming church and convent. After learning about the culture and traditions of the Yucatan, and enjoying a buffet lunch, you’ll then proceed to a selection of five distinctive cenotes.
Depending on the group preference, the cenotes you visit differ. Swim in the emerald water of Cenote Tza Ujun Kat, a shallow sinkhole ideal for families, or descend the wooden stairs of Cenote Santa Rosa. Pass through grottoes and an underground river to Cenote Santa Maria, follow a dirt road to Cenote Yaxbacaltun, or admire the natural surroundings of Cenote Balmil.
Your tour concludes with hotel drop-off at around 6pm.
