What To Expect

Spend an exciting evening in Mexico City watching an authentic Mexican wrestling match in a crowd of local fans. After convenient hotel pickup in Mexico City, travel to the arena for the match. Kick off the festivities and then settle into your seat for the entertainment ahead.

The lights blaze on and the spectators roar with anticipation, as each masked fighter, or luchador, jumps into the ring. Join in the cheer for the técnicos—Mexican comic-book superheroes, warriors or saints representing the plight of farmers and workers—as they tackle with jaw-dropping agility around the rudos (Mexican villains). Be dazzled as they spin and catapult inside the ring with the help of ropes.

When the match ends and your throat is hoarse from all the cheering, enjoy transport back to your hotel. Take home your very own lucha libre wrestling mask, a perfect ornament to hang on the wall back home.

Best Night in Mexico City!

What a fun night! I can’t recommend this experience highly enough. For a great price travel, luchador mask, and excellent seats are all yours. My sister and I had a blast. We also lost our voices cheering and booing with the passionate crowd. This will be a night you remember with tons of great photos and memories. If you’re only having one night out in Mexico City, it should be to the Lucha Libre Wrestling!

Disappointing petty grift.

This was poorly organized and a rip off. Our driver was 1 hour late to collect us from our hotel (no apology or explanation), meaning we missed the first 1/4 of the show. Our driver never showed up to collect us after the show, meaning we had to make our own way home at our own expense. The total cost of the tour was grossly over priced for what was offered. Entry to the show ($350 pesos), a wrestling mask and transfer - (cost of tour was $1800!). Very disappointing.

Go directly to the arena, keep your money.

I bought tickets to Lucha Libre (Mexican wrestling) in Mexico City. Details from Viator said: pick up and drop off to the arena, a shot of tequila and wrestling masks included. I paid $80 per person Turns out, tickets to the event were 400 pesos, around 20 US Dollars. Masks can be found for $5 outside the arena. - We didn't get the tequila. - They called me and confirmed my location, and said they didn't have pick up available at my location and I had to meet them elsewhere. - Turns out my location was10 a minute walk away from the arena, which I didn't know until I walked back. - I spent time going to the pick-up location, got stuck in traffic, couldn't communicate with the driver because he spoke no English, didn't get the tequila, and paid 4 times the price. So, I paid 4 times the price for the most expensive and unnecessary cab ride ever. I'm never using Viator.com again.

It was an amazing experience. So fun! I just wished that I spoke/understood spanish so I could have understood what the audience/wrestlers were saying. The tour operator went out of his way to meet our expectations. They should include in the description that you are not allowed to take any liquids in to the arena (much like many other places - they want you to buy their beer). It was for this reason that they could not give us the promised tequila but they did end up providing us with the tequila - as promised.

It event was very entertaining. The thing I did not enjoy our tour guide dropped us off at the corner to figure out getting in. Lucky someone in group spoke Spanish. We all stayed at the hotel across the street and the driver refused to drop us off there.

The pick up at the hotel was great, the show was fun and entertaining but the bummer of the evening was when I asked the van driver if it was safe and ok to leave my Psycho Bunny baseball cap I just bought on the street in the van and Javier the driver said of course. Well, of course it came up missing and he had no idea where it could of been. Not comfortable with that and poor excuses of where it may have gone. Always watch your self in Mexico. We got scammed at a toll booth by Mexican Police for $200 American cash also.

We paid 88 dollars for tickets that we could have gotten for 20 dollars. The value added was a ride to and from the venue. Which we missed and a mask that isn’t as good as the ones they have at the stadium. We loved loved the lucha experience. But just buy your tickets direct.

We were waiting for the bus to come pick us up and they never came. We were standing there 15 minutes before departure time and then waited 30 minutes after departure time - they never came and we even went around asking people if they were the ones who were supposed to pick us up. We then ended up taking a taxi to the wrestling arena. When we got there, they wouldn’t take our tickets because it was associated with them - it had to be ticketmaster. So we even had to go buy another pair of tickets! We tried calling the number written under “departure point” and also Viator, 5 times - they never picked up.

This is a scam! It was seriously overpriced for what the tour was in itself, but when we showed up to go, the tour guide had no receipt of our booking although the money had already been taken out of my account and we had to pay for the tour again from the operators themselves which ended up being a quarter of the price. I have emailed Viator about this situation and still have heard nothing back and it’s looking like I’ll have to open a fraud case with my bank. DO NOT BOOK THIS!

Absolute scam, paid to go to a wrestling match in Mexico city. A group of four of us showed up to the meeting spot and the tour company could not find our booking. The tour company refused to let us on because Viator did not communicate with Tour Company. It said we would receive a free shot of a tequila, to our surprise there was no tequila. We ended up paying the tour company to let us on. So we ended up paying over £70 to go to a wrestling between viator and the tour company. We tried contacted viator and have heard nothing. It's a horrible company and is most likely a scam. Even the tour company said they have problems with viator alot. Shameful behaviour

Great night with 7 of my friends during a guys trip to Mexico City. We were given luchador masks, and a bottle of tequila. Driver was friendly, and the experience was perfect for a large group. We definitely enjoyed the energy within the arena and the luchadors were fantastic. Also, super cheap BIG beers at the arena. Loved it.
