This tour was excellent. Liga, our guide and driver was knowledgeable about the archeology and was fun to talk to about Mexico, answering many of our questions about current and past cultures. We enjoyed our day with her immensely. Tips for others would be to do a little reading about the site before going so you can really soak in the significance of the complex and ask for Liga.
Ligia was an excellent tour guide! She met us bright and early at our hotel and drove us around some of the best and most historical districts in Mexico City before heading out to the pyramids. Once there, she gave us some amazing history lessons on how the pyramids were discovered and how they've been excavated/restored to-date. She then gave my wife and I some free time to roam the pyramids' grounds and climb to the top of two of them. After our hike, we got to go to an incredible arts and crafts store, see how different jewelry, dyes, and liquors were made, and pick up some great souvenirs. Lastly, before heading back, we got treated to a wonderful lunch, complete with mariachi players and some special desserts and some sparkling wine to celebrate our recent marriage and honeymoon. Ultimately, it was an incredible tour and we'd highly recommend it to anyone wanting to do something fun, different, and super special on their Mexico City trip!
We had an excellent private English speaking tour guide. The tour of Teotihuacan Pyramids is amazing .This is a must choice for anyone visiting Mexico City looking for excursion outside the city.
Excellent tour! Ligia, our tour guide, was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and flexible. She allowed us to go at our own pace, provided historical context, and patiently answered all questions. She also was gracious in taking photos for our group, and those photos she took were great!
Worth every penny to do the private tour. Our guide, Ligia, was great. She patiently answered every one of our endless questions. She even did some extra walking herself to allow us to tour the pyramids at our pace. If I could give it ten stars I would.
Really informative and well organised tour. Our guide Miguel was full of fascinating history and facts about Mexico and Teotihuacan - much much more than we would have expected. As many others have written, making the effort to get there early is well rewarded with cooler weather, zero crowds and less intensive selling from the locals. As we left at 2pm the crowds were building and more and more sellers arriving. A great tour - thanks Miguel
My husband and I did this tour - one AC van, a driver and a guide all to ourselves we don't like to wait on others in a tour group. Our guide was very informative, which you need when staring at ancient ruins - it's the history that makes the trip worth it! Teotihuacan was fantastic and the little artesianal market/mezcal place was cool too. I recommend this trip 100
Fantastic and made so by our tour guide Kevin, a young knowledgeable beyond his years in regard to not only the Teotihaucon people but the Aztec and Mayans. He was very understandable with his English inflected with a bit of Mexican undertones. We would highly recommend this tour along with Kevin
Our overall experience with this private tour was superb. We were a party of 4 and a big van came to pick us up at 7:00 - as we asked them. Javier was an amazing guide to tell us all the details about the site and answered all our questions professionally. (We Highly recommend him).
We book a private tour to teotihuacan at 7am. They guys get to my place early to make sure of arriving on time. Our archeologis was really good (carlos) young and easegoing. We also have Alma as a driver, very nice lady. Both of them very welcoming and friendl. We had a great time. Amigo tour rocks!
Lourdes was a great guide - the site was fantastic - we learned a great deal and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
Outstanding!!! Our guide, Carlos picked us up right on time at our hotel. He was most knowledgeable and tried to make sure we did everything we wanted. The pyramids were breathtaking, the food at our lunch stop was excellent and the stop at the little shop was fun. I would very highly recommend this tour.

Excellent tour and sevice. Lygia was knowledgeable, accomodating and a great tour guide. This is the only way to to Teotihuacan from Mexico City.
We had a great time with our guide and she really knows everything about the city and the places in Mexico City. She made our visit to Teotihuacan very special. Thanks again
I ended up not going on the trip because of being exhausted from the trip down to Mexico BUT the three others who went on the tour had rave reviews. The guide was fabulous and really took care of their different needs of physical activity, scope of information, and safety. They are raving about it to all their friends now. I have another item on my bucket list now.....PS The van and guide were absolutely on time!
Awesome Tour of Teotihuacan and awesome guide. Dee was great. She spoke perfect English and went out of her way to ensure we had a great time. The weather was perfect which made the trip that much more enjoyable. I would highly recommend this tour. 5 plus stars.
My guide, Ligia, was wonderfu! She is so pleasant and incredibly knowledgeable, she made the experience so rich and interesting. The our was amazing and the logistics were perfect. She called the night before to confirm, was early to pick me up, and very accommodating with my requests. I was on a tight schedule and the timing of it all worked out perfectly. I got to see and do everything I wanted and made it to the airport on time. Highly recommended!
Were picked up right on time at our apartment, which I thought was quite a feat in Mexico City. We were driven up and shown a few things a long the way though they were't part of the tour. The tour was very informative, and impressive. We could have stayed longer, though I am a fan of the shorter tours going back to the city just in time for a late lunch.
The tour guide Aimee was fantastic, the tour was a perfect way to come to know the pyramids
Very good. Wear sunscreen. Wear a hat. Come ready for some very intriguing sights
The location and history was amazing. However, our tour guide did not seem to want to be there and appeared irritated when we would ask questions about the ruins.
The private tour was great, our guide, Lulu, was very knowledgeable and explained a lot about the site.
Recommend you go early, especially on weekends as it gets very busy later on. The trip to the obsidian factory and tequila place was the typical tourist thing, but I like rocks so I quite liked the obsidian part. Lunch at the restaurant was OK, but quite pricey for Mexico City.
