Great tour. Beautiful cities. In Cholula, the only stop is to walk to the top of the pyramid to see the chapel. It is strenuous. Be sure to have water and wear good shoes. There is shopping close by if you dont want to see the chapel. In Puebla, the restaurant was so-so. The buffet was 140 mx or you could order a la carte, which is what I would recommend....or just get out and explore the town. Eventually we were taken to the Candy Street and told to meet in 40 minutes. It was hardly enough time to get to the meeting place. Other than that, all good.
This tour was amazing! Jerson our guide was very knowledgeable about everything! And very polite, funny, friendly and helpful! Our driver was very Profesional!! I will do this tour again and will definitely recommend it to my friends.
Great Guide and great bunch of people on the tour.
We started with a tour of Puebla, had quite a bit of free time to discover the craft market or if you wanted art of the city and headed for lunch as nobody in our group booked the lunch we all ended up in a couple different restaurants. We then went to visit the Cathedral and headed to Cholula to visit the Church of Santo Domingo. If you have time, try to get to the Pyramid as well.
Very nice colonial downtown, nice people, would like a more comprehensive tour, one day is too short, maybe an overnight stay may be offered.
Had a knowledgeable guide in Ligia. The cathedral in Cholula is built on a pyramid which was not known until recently, when excavations were done. Would have liked a little more time in Cholula to visit the market/ shops nearby.
The tour was very very good. Our guide Alicia was wonderful and informative. Lot's of information, great pictures and people. Pretty small group. Just few things. We waited to departure sitting in the bus for over hour and a half, it was frustrating and nobody told us why we are just sitting in the bus. Second, the food at the restaurant we went with the group wasn't good and expensive. Don't take the combo they will offer, ask for the menu and order posole from it or something. Otherwise, everything else was very very good. Have fun.
Puebla and Cholula are beautiful ! It's a must see in Mexico. However the guide wasn't very nice and he didn't know a thing about Puebla. So You need to read about it before you go...
Puebla and Cholula are gorgeous cities! Unlike Mexico City, they are very European influenced and inspired! Climbing the largest pyramid of Cholula was fun! And Puebla just makes you feel like youre in Italy. Our guide, Abnar, was sweet and could explain in English really well. He was friendly and accomadating! This is a tour worth taking!!

This was a good tour to see the Santa Maria Church and the Puebla City. Unfortunately, the tour guide gives you a lot of free time at the market in Puebla City but no time to visit the Cholula pyramid, which is said to be the largest pyramid in the world though it is unexcavated as the Santa Maria church is build on top of it. When a few of us in the tour asked the guide about the pyramid he had spoken about in detail during the ride from Mexico City, he agreed to stop to see the pyramid from outside for 10 minutes. Later, we spent nearly an hour in the Puebla City market doing nothing as none of the tourists in the group were much interested in shopping. The tour guide told us that they offer another tour where they take tourists to see the pyramid in detail!!
I think it will be good idea for viator to give a more clearer/accurate description of the tour with some idea of time spent at each place of interest
Too little time in Puebla on our own. We were herded into selected restaurant and given 45 minutes for lunch. Since my daughter and I wanted to eat at a different restaurant, we had to hurry through our lunch to rejoin group where we had a short walk to the Cathedral and down to Artisan Market where we were given lots of free time. The tour could easily have been reorganized to give us time to lunch and shop on our own in one time period. Also, we were dropped off across the street from our hotel and had to cross busy boulevard even though we were promised a hotel drop-off. Tour group was half English speakers and half Spanish speakers 13 people total so guide had to give information twice. I think Cholula could be omitted and given as a separate tour since our stop was only to climb pyramid and view church. I read that Cholula was an interesting place, but we didn't see anything else. I would have liked more free time in Puebla.
