One person of our team will contact you to give you the time and more details of the pickup process one day before your balloon flight. THE PICKUP TIME BEGINS AT 4:45 AM. The transportation service only applies from Mexico City Hotels located at Touristic Areas. It does not apply from particular residences or Airbnb and/or similar services. The transportation service is shared, subject to schedules and restrictions. In case you select the option without transportation and want to arrive by your own car, the appointment will be at Globopuerto Volare in Teotihuacán, State of Mexico, at the designated time. Best price out there! The staff was friendly and spoke English. It was AMAZING to see probably 50 balloons flying around! Our pilot was the best! He took us about 3 feet over the top of the Sun Pyramid (something they always aim for, but it is hard to do because they are at the mercy of the wind). He flew us low over the city of San Juan and we spent our trip waving at the people on the ground! Afterwards, we opted to stay and visit the pyramids and the tour company recommended we do a tour with Martin for only about $40 USD. Let me tell you, I have done many tours all over the world, but the tour with Martin was one of the best. Totally interactive and with alcohol included! We learned about obsidian, drank local craft sugar cane alcohol from a families garage bar, got "henna" tattoos in red from the eggs of worms, learned about agave and took part in a cleansing ritual in an underground cave that is illuminated by a beam of sunlight for 45 minutes a day. Highly recommend!

Great tour and experience. The hot air balloon was a dream and right out of my bucket list. The food, the coffee breaks and the planing were well done and the visit on site was well executed. The only downside was that the driver that dropped us off took too long of a route and we used 3 1/2 hours to get back to the hotel.

Come for the balloon ride, skip the pyramids.

Balloon portion was amazing. Pyramid part, not so much. Shuttle ride back was cramped and AC was barely working in the very back seats.

Good experience. Snacks in the early morning (coffee / water / fruits / pastry). About 45 min flight time over the ruins. Mexican breakfast / mariachi / tequila sampling afterwards. 3 hour optional walking tour was more than enough time to visit the Sun and Moon temple. Only bathroom is close to the museum, which is north of the Sun temple. Also chilly in the morning, but hot in the afternoon.

This experience was the highlight of our time in Mexico! We brought our three kids ages 6, 10 and 13. The sunrise with all of the balloons in the air was magical. The included breakfast was in a beautiful garden with mariachi and we added the extra time to see the pyramids (without the optional guide as it we wanted to spend our time at the archeological site). It’s a long drive back into the city with afternoon traffic, but worth every minute. Highly recommend.

Great experience! I took the extended tour though I don't think I would choose again. Doesn't take much time to walk around the pyramids and if you're lucky the hot air balloon ride will give you a pretty great view. Going back to Mexico City at peak lunch time takes about 1.5 hours. Breakfast was good with mariachi as entertainment.
