Little Havana Food and Walking Tour in Miami

Little Havana Food and Walking Tour in Miami

This 2-hour walking food tour begins at the Agustin Gainza Arts and Studio in Miami’s Little Havana neighborhood. After a meet and greet with the guide, it’s time for a flavorful and fun adventure.

Visit six family owned and operated Cuban restaurants to sample the fresh flavors of the local cuisine. The Calle Ocho area of Little Havana provides an overview of the neighborhood’s traditional flavors — favorites like homemade mamey and flan ice cream, chicken- and picadillo-stuffed plantain cups, guava pastelito, plus coffee, guarapo juice and much more. Many of the Cuban dishes are prepared from family recipes that have been handed down from one generation to another.

This tour includes more than just food, however. Meet some of the Cuban artists in their studios, listen to some traditional Cuban music and watch skilled Cuban cigar rollers at the El Credito Cigar Factory. Also, visit Maximo Gomez Domino Park, a landmark on Calle Ocho.

The tour concludes back at the Agustin Gainza Arts and Studio.

This was the best tour! Our tour guide was Ralph and he was very knowledgeable and had a lot of personality. I enjoyed learning about the Cuban culture. I was stuffed by the second stop with the empanadas. You could just go to little Havana and walk around yourself which is what most people suggested to us but this was our first time in Miami and we wanted the full experience. I enjoyed every bit of it and it was well worth it. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to get the full experience.

I highly recommend this tour to get a true glimpse of little Havana. Our tour guide was a gem! Not only did we learn a lot about the Cuban culture and people, we ate our way through the streets of little Havana. All the vendors were kind and eager to share their products with us.

Our group of 6 had a fantastic time...beat all our expectations. Our guide Jennifer was terrific and did a great job of informing us of the culture and food of Little Havana. All the eateries were delicious and the salsa dancing at Ball and Chain was an extra unexpected pleasure. A must do for anyone looking for something different and unique in Miami.

Ralph was very knowledgeable and considerate of his clients who had special food requirements. Though they did not really have the capability to substitute items for my friend with allergies, he made every effort to make her feel welcome on the tour. The food was great!!! He wore a mic, which was very helpful. I would definitely recommend this tour to visitors to the Miami area. The price was was excellent!
