I don't know if you fellow travelers know /I've been traveling all around the world/ but those food walking tours are the best way to get to know the city! Loved it! Seriously you will get a lots of food! You get to know 'smaller' places with an amazing food and you can get lots of information about city from your tour guide! Cuban Coffee and Cuban Sandwich in the small coffee shop was excellent! And my Tour Guide was very knowledgeable !! Highly Recommend this tours for people interesting in Art Deco and local food!!
Excellent tour. Be sure to wear comfortable clothes and walking shoes. I recommend the evening time as you get to see parts of Miami at night.
This tour was not only delicious, but SO educational! The restaurants we visited were family owned, which we appreciated and held so much culture! The Cuban sandwich and the Vietnamese ice cream at Miami Ice were our favorites! We visited Lincoln Road and Ocean Drive which held so much history!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our walking tour- our guide was intelligent and informed with a terrific personality. Our guide is from Macedonial and the two other couples on our tour were from Sweden so we had some interesting discussions while we stopped for food. The tastings were never rushed we lingered in several restaurants after our meals were done. I do mean meals. We started with a large Cuban sandwich and cubano coffee, sampled empanadas and went on for several more stops before winding up with a most unusual dish of ice cream- very different and very delicious. To say more would spoil the surprise. Our guide saved the best for last we wound up on Ocean Ave. to view the Art Deco hotels/restaurants after nightfall when they were all lit up in their neon glory. The tour lasted well beyond the hours posted. Would definitely recommend
We had an amazing Trip with faruk. He showed all hotspotos of Miami Beach and told us interesting thinks about the history and present time how life in Miami is. The locations of the food were fantastic, we would never had found this places by our selve. Thank you so much for the incredible tour. We would book again
Very Good experience. Our tour guide Faruk was a wealth of knowledge about the history of the area. Food choices were all from independent establishments which we appreciate. Recommend the tour.
Great introduction to International foods available in Miami, and some of the history of the city and the architecture. The selection of foods was enjoyable, and made up a fun meal, with time to walk it off a bit walk off between courses. Oh, and don't schedule anything too close to the end - we has a great time, and ran way past the 3 hour time.
Very fun tour. Faruk had a lot of interesting stories and knowledge on the area. Wish I had thought to take this earlier in my trip to have explored south beach more sooner on.
Faruk the tour guide was extremely knowledgeable about the food as well as the history of the area. All the food was amazing and it was beautiful that all the food locations were family owned and operated. He really went above and beyond to help me feel at home in the area! It's a really good value for money tour that I would definitely recommend you do on your first day here in Miami Beach.
This tour was very interesting and informative. We got to sample a variety of foods. Thanks!!!
My 19 year old daughter and I took the tour with Faruk during our recent short trip to Miami. It was our first trip to Miami and the frist food tour we have ever been on and I must say it did not disappoint! We had a fantastic time with Faruk wondering the city tasting the perfectly sized samples of delicious local foods prepared at small off the beaten path family run restaurants, while listening to his vast knowledge on Miami's history and culture. It is obvious that Faruk enjoys what he does and also obvious that he has a deep respect and appreciation of the diverse cultures that make Miami a unique US destination. He was also very laid back and easy to chat with, that before we knew it 4 enjoyable hours had passed by and we were ending our tour with some refreshing gelato! I would highly recomend this tour and we will definetly be back to hopfully have Faruk guide us again through another Miami neighbourhood! Thank you Faruk!
Absolutely excellent tour, very good value for money. Strongly recommended!
Our guide was excellent. It was just us and we ate at very authentic places. Our guide was very knowledgeable and had all sorts of behind the sciences acces. We were very lucky and we would recommend this tour for sure as something you should do. Pro tip wear comfy shoes. :)
Excellent tour! My family had lots of fun walking around Miami Beach and tasting the different foods that represent the different cultures of Miami . Faurak led us for over 4 hours!!!Maybe because it was a Friday night and no one was in a rush. Truly an enjoyable tour and well worth it!
Lots of good food on tour. Guide was very knowledgeable about Florida history.
A really interesting and informative tour! Our guide (unfortunately didn't get his name) had such a knowledge of Miami and its history. We visited 5 different restaurants and tried 5 foods associated with the restaurant's country of origin.
The guide was a nice, friendly guy and he made the tour unique.
My wife and I had only one evening to try and experience as much South Beach cuisine as possible and chose to spend the evening on this walking tour. It allowed us to taste a variety of foods/drinks while seeing much of the area that we otherwise would have missed. Faruk (our guide) was great!!
I truly enjoyed the restaurants and sites I was introduced to! Will be definitely returning to a couple of them while I and #39;m still in Miami Beach.
We recently did the Miami Beach Walking tour and we had a great time despite some very rainy weather at the start of the tour. Our guide Faruk was very informative and had lots to tell us about the local cuisine and history of the countries where the food came from. The food was delicious and quite filling by the end of the tour. We were also offered drinks along the way. Also, got to see some Art Deco architecture which is so typical of the Miami area. Overall, a great tour, very enjoyable and highly recommend.
This was an excellent tour with a very informative guide. The food was great too. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Miami.
This was a very good tour. Our guide is the owner of this company which does several Miami food walks.
He met us at the exact time specified and we started with some Cuban coffee and pastries. From there we took a local free trolley before we started walking. There were five stops, and we liked them all. Each stop was a small Mom and Pop type. Of course, he knew his way around very well
It was a hot day, he made sure we had water at every stop. Twice he took us into hotel lobbies to cool off, as well as to see their decor.
He was very knowledgeable about the area, its history, local architecture, and, of course the food we ate.
At one stop, the planned food was a fish dish, but my travel companion had earlier expressed a dislike for fish, so he arranged a change, we liked that.
I recommend this tour.
What a great way to learn about the neighborhoods, history and culinary delights of Miami. Our guide was knowledgable, creative and most importantly extremely nice. And the food...OMG. We even went to one of the places on tour the next day for brunch. It was divine. Highly recommended.
Really enjoyed this tour that we did prior to picking up a cruise. My husband and I were the only 2 on the tour and the guide Faruk was very friendly and knowledgable about Miami. We walked and chatted about all kinds of things and stopped at some wonderful neighbourhood cafe/restaurants!
