Get ready to explore the French Riviera including Monaco on a 4-day tour from Milan!


Day 1: Milan – San Remo – Monaco – Nice
Leave Milan in the morning, and then travel northwest through Liguria to the handsome seaside town of San Remo. Known for being the host of the annual Italian Song Festival, San Remo is a melting pot of both French and Italian culture, due to its proximity to France.

After lunch (own expense), continue to Monaco, a self-governing city-state on the sunny French Riviera. Stroll around the pocket-sized city on a walking tour, and see top Monaco attractions like Prince’s Palace (Palais du Prince) and the Cathedral of Monaco where Grace Kelly, the Princess of Monaco, is buried. Take a look at the Formula One Grand Prix track that weaves through the city, and admire Monte Carlo Casino.

Leave Monaco in the late afternoon, and travel to Nice, where your hotel awaits.

Day 2: Nice – St Raphael – St Tropez – Nice (B)
Rise early for breakfast and then set off to see the French Riviera. First stop is St Raphael, followed by the chic beach resort of St Tropez. Popular with the the rich and famous, both towns boast immaculate beaches where well-heeled Europeans go to soak up the sun. Enjoy free time in each town, eat lunch (own expense) and look out for celebrities strutting their stuff.

Return to Nice, traveling along the Corniche d’Or, a stunning cliff-top road that hugs the coastline. After your drop-off, the rest of your day is yours to spend at leisure. Maybe visit one of Nice’s art galleries like the Chagall Museum or top up your tan on Coco Beach. All entrance fees and activities are at your own expense.

Day 3: Nice – Provence – Cannes – Nice (B)
Enjoy a relaxing breakfast in your hotel, and then visit Saint-Paul de Vence, a typically gorgeous Provencal village. The fortified medieval town is charming, filled with pavement-side cafes, winding alleyways and fountain-studded walkways. Enjoy a leisurely amble, and then continue to the town of Grasse.

Explore at leisure, perhaps visiting Fragonard – Grasse’s legendary perfume factory – or strolling around the center to see impressive buildings like Notre-Dame Cathedral. Visit a cafe for lunch (own expense), and then travel to Cannes.

Most of the glitzy city’s sights are spread around the Croisette, the boulevard that lines the seafront. Use your free time for a walk down the iconic promenade, or relax on Cannes' stylish beaches. Then, return to your hotel in the early evening.

Day 4: Nice – Milan (B)

After breakfast in your hotel, check out, and then return to Milan by coach.
