One of our most memorable nights in Italy. Aurora was amazing and so patient. She made us feel as special guests in her home. Unbelievably the food was excellent. I actually bought a pasta machine when we got home!

My wife and I took cooking lessons from Aurora on October 19 and while I was slightly skeptical about going but wanted to support my wife in this, it was a thoroughly enjoyable evening! The other three couples there were all part of the same group and the other men had a similar before and after experience as I did. My wife enjoyed the evening participating with Aurora in preparing our evening meal, which was nothing short of delicious. The tiramisu was the best the other party had experienced in Italy they had tiramisu 2 other times while in Italy and for my only try of it while it Italy, it was really incredible!

If you are considering this event while visiting Milan, I would encourage you to go for it. You will not be disappointed!

Aurora was such a great and entertaining instructor!!! She hosts her cooking lesson in her apartment, which is very nice and private. There were 8 of us in her class and we all received the same amount of attention and instruction. We made gnocchi, orecchiette, eggplant parmigiana and tiramisu for dessert. She even catered to me, the only vegetarian in the group with a non meat sauce. Once all the food was prepared and made we sat at her dining room table and feasted on everything, along with wine. That night of our cooking class the train was on strike until 10 pm. Aurora let us all stay and talk until 10 pm. She actually made a phone call to make sure the strike was over prior to us leaving.

What a fantastic evening with Aurora and Claudio!! We had such an amazing time and Aurora helped us create delicious food! She and Claudio were such gracious hosts. Even though we ended up having 10 a larger group than typical or expected, Aurora easily adapted and made sure everyone was involved and had enough utensils to accommodate everyone. Aurora is a master at demonstrating and guiding through each step so everyone feels like a true Italian chef. The night after we arrived home from Italy, we hosted our family and made some of the food we'd made with Aurora's help - including gnocchi from scratch. I cannot say enough positive things about this experience!!

What a tremendously informative and satisfying experience! My wife and I had the good fortune to book a date with Italian Wonderwoman Aurora and husband, Claudio. We met a GREAT group of other want-to-be cooks and had an absolute blast learning to make gnocchi, bolognais sauce, ravioli, lamb and tiramisu. After a week of dining in Italy, I'm still waiting to find the equal of the pasta we made in Aurora's lovely apartment with her expert guidance. Terrific fare, abundant and delicious wines, fun and interesting conversation with new friends, it just does not get any better than the time we had! Another interesting note: Aurora is a wonderful painter and you can see her work in her apartment. Will ABSOLUTELY be booking with her again on our next trip!

Wow, simply wow! Aurora and Claudio were theist amazing hosts. All of the little cooking tips and history of pasta as in Italy that Aurora taught us were worth the price alone. We prepared Gnocchi with Bolognese, Ravioli with Gorgonzola Cream Sauce, Roman style Lamb with sweet and sour onions, and Tiramisu. We dined like kings! With such a great teacher, even I was able to prepare a good meal.

This experience was the best one I had on my honeymoon. My husband and I loved the cooking class. Aurora was so warm and welcoming from the moment we stepped into her home. My husband and I were running late and she was so accommodating and quickly caught us up to speed making us feel like we didn't miss anything. The food we made and shared at dinner with 7 other Americans at dinner was the best we had while in Italy! We will definitely be trying the recipes at home. Thanks Aurora!

If you are in Milan and enjoy cooking this is a must to do. Aurora and Claudio were the most gracious hosts. We were 6 people and prepared our 4 course dinner from scratch. Fresh tagliatelle pasta, pear and gorgonzola stuffed ravioli, veal saltimbocca and of course Tiramisu. Aurora guide us through all the preparation for each course including making and rolling the dough for the pasta and ravioli.
The best part was getting to eat the delicious meal we created.

It was a most informative cooking class. We had a private lesson with Aurora who was most accommodating, just because it was a quiet evening and we were gone tomorrow.
We had fun making fresh pasta, both for spinach ravioli and eggplant tagliatelle. Also cooked were lamb chops Roman style Abbacchio. For dessert a panna cotta was made and served with fresh strawberries, the small really tasty kind fragiolina.
Good wine, good company, with our hosts Aurora and Claudio. A wonderful evening.

This cooking class was a highlight of our short time in Milan. Aurora is a gracious host and fabulous cook! She even printed us a certificate at the conclusion of the evening and sent us the recipes so we could continue to work on our cooking skills :- I highly recommend her cooking class!

This was one of the most fun cooking and dining classes to take in Milan. Our host Aurora and Claudio were the perfect hosts. Aurora had a menu of fresh pasta, eggplant parmigiana, spinach ravioli, tagliatelle with bolognese sauce and dessert was our homemade tiramisu! We were a family of 5 joined by another couple. Aurora gave us all lessons on how to prepare this great meal all from scratch and afterwards we sat down with our fellow chefs and enjoyed a wonderful dinner with all our creations and wine. We finished our meal with Limoncello and tiramisu! Thank you so much - we had a wonderful evening and can't wait to cook for our friends back home!

This tour was AMAZING!!!! It was so so fun to learn how to make traditional Italian food from a real Italian chef. PLUS, at the end you get to eat an amazing 4 course meal that you prepared yourself! :

I was a little scared before hand because I am not a cook at all! Aurora and Claudio Made me feel at ease, and the lesson was great. Aurora is a kind, sweet, knowledgeable instructor, and is so helpful and informative. I was so impressed with our ability to make a four course meal, including homemade pasta all from scratch!

What we made:
Eggplant Parmigiana
Homemade ravioli with Ricottia and spinach
Tagliatelle with bolognase sauce
Tiramisu

I highly highly recommend this tour, definitely a highlight of my trip for sure!

Aurora and Claudio were very welcoming throughout the evening. We made several home made pasta dishes that were truly delicious! Aurora explained how each dish is made, as well as, interesting details as to the history of the dish in the Italian culture. Our favorite part of the cooking was learning how to make Cannoli! We are looking forward to making this dessert for our family and friends. The evening ended with enjoying each of the dishes with wonderful wine and our fellow chefs. If we have the opportunity to return to Milan, we will definitely take another cooking class with Aurora and Claudio.

This was by far my favorite thing about Milan. Aurora and her husband were friendly and welcomed us into their homes like we were old friends. She was very good at explaining what different ingredients will do for the dish and at teaching us the most authentic Italian way, including the history behind some of the sauces we made. An added bonus was that the people who booked the class that night were awesome and now I have new friends in New York and Atlanta. This is a MUST if you're in Milan!

We had a great night with Aurora learning how to make Tagliatelle Bolognese, Spinach and Ricotta Ravioli, Eggplant Parmigiana and Tiramisu. The meal was better than any restaurant in Milan and we will be able to easily replicate the recipes at home.

A must do when in Milan even if this is all you do. Well worth every penny. It was great that it was available in the evening. My fiance and I learned to make tagliatelle bolognese, ravioli, eggplant parmigiana, and tiramisu. It was so much food for the two of us. It was amazing. The best thing about it is that Aurora emailed us the recipe a few days later allowing us to make these recipes at home. We love cooking at home and these our one of our favorite dishes.

This was a really great experience.

We enjoyed warm friendship, drinks and food in the setting of someone's private Italian home and we learned to cook and eat a really great dinner. We are regularly using these recipes now at home.

I highly recommend this experience. It is very casual, low stress and yet we learned quite a bit. Perfect for people who want to experience the Italian culture on a personal level.
