Meet your guide by the entrance to ‘The Last Supper’ exhibit, at the centrally-located Piazza Santa Maria delle Grazie. You’ll have 15 minutes to take in the stunning mural, which has survived centuries of neglect, weather and a devastating bombing campaign during the Second World War. Find out why the painting is considered one of the finest in the world, from the elegant contrasts of light and dark to the dramatically grouped figures of the apostles.
After viewing the painting, you’ll have time to talk with your guide about it’s history, the unusual painting methods that Leonardo used and how it became a cultural touchstone worldwide. Continue into the Santa Maria delle Grazie church, once a private place of worship for the Sforza and Dukes who ruled Milan in the 15th-century. Follow the church’s architecture from its 15th-century beginnings to renovations by Renaissance master architect Bramante. Don’t miss the stunning apses, refectory and serene cloister, where you can stroll shady arcades around a garden courtyard.

I joined the tour with my friend. Efficiently organized and good explanation. Really appreciated and will recommend this to my friends

We chose the guided tour by default, because there was no other way to gain admission to the chapel. We were very pleasantly surprised. Our guide used wireless devices to speak to us, so we were free to move about as she spoke. She was extremely knowledgeable and gave a comprehensive, eye-opening description of the site before we entered the chapel. After we entered the chapel, she allowed a silent period for us to enjoy the painting. Overall, this was a wonderful experience which was greatly enhanced by our tour guide

There is no other way to see the Last Supper, so we had to pre-buy the tickets with a tour guide. I am glad that we got the guided tour as our guide was very good and knowledgeable, however, the price is really high.

Clearly not a professional tour company. No one contacted us with a tour time, Viator were no help, ended up missing the guided tour as the only contact was an italian mobile. Operator was rude and left us with tickets for the wrong time. Overly disappointed and will never use Viator again!

I'd definitely recommend this tour - the guide was great with excellent knowledge. I learned so much about this painting and it's history than I would have if I had tried to do this independently. Well worth the extra cost - and book ahead.

The tour was pretty good, just shorter than I expected. The guide was very punctual and informative.

Well worth the expenditure. Our guide not only gave us an education on the Last Supper, but gave us a brief history lesson on Milan--we really enjoyed it!

Excellent guide. Well worth the extra money to have someone knowledgeable to guide you through this exhibit and answer your questions. He was very good and friendly too. Suggest you bring your own ear buds. The ones they give you don't fit well and are one size for all. They worked, but a good set of ear buds would have worked better and would have stayed put.
