This is a tour that involves a lot of walking. Somehow, some of the folks on the tour hadn't realized that and gave the guide a hard time. Unfair - it's pretty obvious in the description that you walk from Sfoza to the Last Supper, and then getting home is up to you. Just wanted to put that in, in case the grumps decided to give our guide a bad review. Our guide was excellent with a command of English and a rather quirky sense of humor in relaying the Sforza history. She did an excellent job of herding cats with courtesy and professionalism and we would highly recommend her and this tour. Note that the focus is on Leonardo at the Sforza, not Michaelangelo or other artists, so don't expect time to be spent on other displays.
This tour was great and I would highly recommend it. While the Last Supper is obviously what everyone is there to see, the Sforza Castle was also impressive. Our guide was very knowledgeable and made both the Last Supper and the Sforza Castle so much more enjoyable.
It let me see the Last Supper at short notice with a bonus tour of Sforza Castle, so thumbs up! They even have binoculars to help see the Last Supper better
The Last Supper Guided tour and visit to the Sforza Castle was excellent. The tour guide was very professional and knowledgeable.
If you spend the money to visit Milan but view the Last Supper without taking this tour, you will miss half of the experience. Our guide in the photo, forgot his name was excellent, walking us through the museum inside Sforza Castle, explaining the history, events, and personalities that led to the Last Supper.
I would highly recommend this tour. It was amazing to see the actual painting of the the Last Supper. Our tour guide was very informative on the history of the Sforza Castle, church and art work of Leonardo da Vinci.
First time I've ever posted an online review...but this tour was too good not to write about!
Originally, just booked it to get into The Last Supper. In fact, the whole tour was wonderful.
Our guide, David, was knowledgable, entertaining and led a fascinating tour of Sforza Castle and the museum...leading up to the great painting. His insights alone were worth the price of the tour. This was truly one of the highlights of our two weeks in Italy.
We went in this tour because it was the only available to see 'The Last Supper' but we discover the Sforza Castle and all the history behind it! It was amazing and our guide was fantastic, she described a lot of details in the castle and in the painting!
Just a little note: we had a lot of time in the castle, so the walk to Santa Maria della Grazie was made in a quick mode, what was difficult for some people, but is worth it!
This tour was great! Our guide was very knowledgable and enthusiastic. We started in the central courtyard area of the castle. Our guide told us the history of the castle and provided fascinating details. It got a bit tiring standing up for so long. Fortunately I had my walking stick with seat so I could sit and listen. I would have liked more time in the castle itself to look around. Our guide gave fascinating details inside the castle as well. Then we walked over to where The Last Supper is located. It's a 10-15 minute walk from the castle. Each group gets a limited amount of time to view the Last Supper. The painting is quite faded. The stories our guide told us, were truly fascinating. She explained about the paint that was used, why Leonardo chose that paint, and also told us about his life. I highly recommend this tour.
Wow the Last Supper was breath-taking. Our tour guide knew so much information and gave us quite the tour!
the tour guide was spectacular, and the tour itself was great. Would recommend this to anyone
It was fantastic and our guide Sarah was excellent. Was the highlight of our trip to Milan.
The guide was very friendly and very attentive.
It was pity we did not have more time to see the museums in the Castle.
Sforza Castle was interesting but the main attraction on this tour is The Last Supper. Although you are only able to view for 15 minutes, our tour guide explained a lot so that our viewing was more meaningful. Highly recommend.

This was a good tour, although the guide always seemed to be in a hurry. I think that is because they have a certain time
to view The Last Supper and it is quite a walk from the Castle.
The Last Supper was amazing, very informative and really enjoyed that part of the tour
Unfortunately not so lean on the castle part of the tour
We were not told where the tour started and the cab took us to the actual place the Last Supper was located. The staff person at that location was really rude about giving us information and we were next door to a library entrance and were told to walk around the block and go straight. About an hour later we were rushing and asking pedestrians where to go and some kindly explained the Castle. Everything looks like a castle. About time for the tour and we have walked a mile and a half, and two of the party gave up and took a cab back to the original location and two of us did the walking tour through the Sforza Castle, then walked all the way back to where we started. Fortunately, the guide knew some shortcuts or I would have sat down on the curb.
The good news is that the tour guide was a joyous enthusiastic historian. On several occasions when she was deep in a story we were asked to move on and her excellent English converted to some colorful Italian with gestures. She was there to teach and she wasn't moving until she finished. She was a great guide, undoubtedly the best of the ones we had on the 22 day vacation. The actual painting was a bit of a let down and we were the last group so again we were moved outside where this lovely lady finished with her talk for 30 additional minutes. Yes I would do this again, but if you have mobility issues, be prepared. You are just getting warmed up for Rome.
If ever in Milan, one must visit the Last Supper. Though seeing the Last Supper is the highlight of this tour, visiting and learning about the first family of Milan, The Sforza, is fascinating as well, in which the castle is named after. For three hours, our tour guide provided us with detailed history and information about Milan, the castle and of course Leonardo's The Last Supper. Even though you are only allowed 15 minutes to view this wonderment and no more than 20 people in the room, to see it in person is quite an experience. Highly recommend this tour. I would have given this a 5 star if we didn't rush to get to the Convent of Santa Maria delle Grazie where painted fresco is located. You will also be able to view another masterpiece in the same room called Crucifixion by Donato. Not well known work, but deserves some acknowledgement. Bonus tip - you can take pictures of the Last Supper no flash though.
It was a bit long for only two sights. The guide was excellent and she evidently enjoys her job. The last supper was great, however you can stay only 15 minutes at the fresco.
Our guide was knowledgable, articulate and pleased to answerr any questions. Da Vinci's 'last supper' was spectacular.
