What You Can Expect

Best of Milan Experience Including Da Vinci's ‘The Last Supper’ or Vineyard and Milan Duomo Tour

Skip the long lines at Milan Duomo!

Begin your day in Piazza Luigi Cadorna, where you’ll join up with your guide and small group. Come prepared with comfortable walking shoes and clothing that covers the shoulders and knees, as a dress code is enforced at many of the churches.

Take off into the city, learning about the famous Duomo di Milano as you go. The Gothic cathedral is the largest church in the country and the fifth largest in the world, taking nearly six centuries to complete. Crowds collect early at this showstopper, but you’ll bypass the lines entirely with your direct-access ticket.

Afterward, pay homage to one of the world's largest shopping malls as you pass the 19th-century Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. Then skip the line inside the Chiesa di San Maurizio al Monastero Maggiore before heading toward other top attractions, including Arco della Pace, Sempione Park and the 15th-century Castello Sforzesco. See artwork from the controversial Maurizio Cattelan and Bramante’s optical illusion inside the Church of Santa Maria presso San Satiro.

After pausing to purchase lunch, head to the UNESCO-listed Chiesa di Santa Maria delle Grazie, home to da Vinci's The Last Supper (if option selected). Bypass the crowds with your skip-the-line ticket, get an up-close look at the iconic mural, and learn about its restoration.

Alternatively, head to Leonardo da Vinci's Vineyard (if option selected). After remaining abandoned for many years, this historical treasure was recently restored to exactly as it was during Leonardo’s time. Learn how the vineyard's roots were saved and hidden under the land after the fires of World War II.

Afterward, stroll along Via Montenapoleone in the city's fashion district. After a full day of exploration, your tour will conclude back at your original departure point.

Please note:
Leonardo's Vineyard is available daily, while The Last Supper option is available only Tuesday to Sunday. On Sundays, the visit to the Duomo will be replaced with the visit to Piazza Gae Aurenti.

Do yourself a favor and take this tour!!! My wife and I took this tour on Friday, February 3, 2017 and it exceeded ALL expectations. Our tour guide Charles and his assistant met us for our tour. We were in a group with two other 5 other people so the group size was perfect. We were given small radio receivers with an earpiece so we could easily her Charles' comments throughout the day without looking silly as we walked the streets and attractions of Milan. Charles English was perfect and he had a very complete knowledge of the past history and current influences of Milan yet a practical way of explaining and communicating them to us. He had the patience to answer every question we might have had and even referred to an iPad from time to time to explain links from say a painting the group was viewing to another work from an earlier time example: real time comparison of the depiction of St. John the baptist from Da Vinci's The Virgin of the Rocks to his depiction of St. John in The Last Supper. Having taken other tours in other European cities before Vienna and Budapest I can honestly say that this tour was BY FAR the best and those other tours were also very good by the way. So if you are considering this tour, you can book it without hesitation--the sights, the information, the guide, and the pace was exceptional--it is worth every penny!

This was a great tour! Our guide was very well informed and very funny! I was worried that the tour might be too long specially since we were traveling with our two small children, but our guide made it feel very exciting and smooth, and at the end, the tour did not feel like it was an all-day tour at all! Would definitely recommend this tour to all who want an in-depth tour of Milano with all the best sight-seeing.

Got to tour two churches in addition to the Duomo. Lots of walking so we got to soak in the atmosphere of the city. Our guide was very knowledgeable and an interesting speaker. Lunch was on our own which was nice too. Lines for 'The Last Supper and Duomo were longer than we would have wanted to wait in - well worth every penny to skip the line. Group tour, but not too large. Would definitely recommend this tour to friends.

This is a great, single day walking tour of the very best sights of the city. Charles was interesting, informative and witty. The pace was great and we had both a pastry break and a lunch break. Highly recommended.
