  • Piazza del Duomo , P.za del Duomo, Milano MI, Italy

Meeting Point at the Piazza del Duomo. Under the arches of Mondadori shop (written inMONDADORI on the sign) in Piazza del Duomo. This is on the right hand side of the square, when facing the front entrance (exterior) of the cathedral.

  • Piazza di Santa Maria delle Grazie , Piazza di Santa Maria delle Grazie, 20123 Milano MI, Italy

Meeting Point at Piazza Santa Maria delle Grazie - Meet your guide in front of the entrance of the Church of Santa Maria delle Grazia at Piazza Santa Maria delle Grazie in central Milan. The piazza is located between Corso Magenta and Via Fratelli Ruffini.

  • Piazza del Duomo , P.za del Duomo, Milano MI, Italy
See the chief sights and landmarks of Milan on this info-packed guided walking tour. With your guide by your side the entire time, you'll be within earshot of the city's fascinating history. Start off at the gorgeous Duomo, a huge and ornate gothic structure and one of the most beautiful churches in the world.

Then stroll over to nearby Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, maybe one of the most aesthetically pleasing shopping malls on the planet. Its impressive 19th-century glass ceiling is worth a look in and of itself. After walking through the Galleria, stop in front of La Scala, the city's main opera house and one of the most renowned in Europe. Built in the late 18th century, La Scala has seen a who's who of famed composers and musicians in the last 200 years.

Head over to the trendy and cool Brera district, crammed with funky boutiques, trendy bars and hip restaurants. Home to the city's Bohemian set, the neighborhood's streets are picturesque and make for a pleasant stroll. Eventually, you'll find yourself at imposing Sforza Castle, where you can take some time to admire the late-medeival fortress.

The last stop and the highlight of the day is your skip-the-line admission to Leonardo de Vinci's The Last Supper. After you breeze past the line, head inside the former food hall of the convent. You get 15 minutes in front of the masterpiece, so use it wisely. Make sure you step back and see the painting in a larger context: that the monks who ate there felt like they were dining with Jesus and his disciples.

After your 15 minutes are over, head outside where the tour concludes.

Please note: The above itinerary is applicable to options departed from Piazza Duomo only. If you select a departure time from Piazza Santa Maria delle Grazie , the tour will start at The Last Supper and finish with the walking tour around Piazza del Duomo. Visits inside the Duomo are not possible on Sundays or religious holidays. On these days, a detailed tour will be given from outside of the Duomo
    Itinerary
    Stop At:
    Duomo di Milano
If your time in Milan is limited, or if you want an overview to guide your exploration, this one-day walking tour is the perfect introduction, taking in all the most prominent sights – including guaranteed entry to see Da Vinci’s ‘The Last Supper’. Led by your local, English-speaking guide, you’ll visit some iconic sights and some on the path less travelled. You’ll get to skip the line at Milan Duomo and experience this world-famous cathedral without waiting – unlike the city itself, which waited nearly 600 years for the incredible building to be completed. The tour will pause again so you can admire the medieval Sforza Castle, before delving into the cobbled streets of the Brera district. This is the beating heart of Milan’s social and cultural life, as your guide will explain. You’ll hear about all the famous artists and thinkers that have called Brera home, as well as some more up-to-date recommendations of places to revisit later for a drink or a meal.
    Duration: 2 hours 30 minutes
    Admission Ticket Included
    Stop At:
    Castello Sforzesco
You'll see another architectural wonder at the Medieval Sforza Castle, which your guide will explain from the outside.
    Duration: 10 minutes
    Admission Ticket Not Included
    Pass By:
    Brera District
Along the way you’ll pass through the cobbled streets of the Brera district where you’ll find the heart of Milan’s social life. With your guide leading the way you’ll hear about the artists and intellectuals that once called these streets home, and get some tips on where to visit for a meal or a drink later.
    Pass By:
    Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II
Our next stop is the impressive Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, a 19th century glass vaulted shopping arcade. Brimming with fashionable shops and cafés, it is often called the drawing room of Milan for its importance as a common meeting point. Passing through the Gallery we arrive at Piazza della Scala, the square which houses the world renowned Scala Theatre – Milan’s Opera House since 1778 which is still in use. Some of the greatest musicians and singers in history have performed here, notably Giuseppe Verdi whose famous operas, such as Falstaff, often premiered in this very theatre.
    Stop At:
    Il Cenacolo
It all builds to a viewing of Leonardo Da Vinci’s phenomenal mural, ‘The Last Supper’. Often imitated, never bettered, this masterpiece is carefully preserved, and only one group is allowed to view it at a time. This can make tickets a challenge to acquire, but yours are included in this package, along with special Skip the Line Access – so you’re guaranteed your full 15 minutes with the fresco. Listen as your guide points out the details that earn ‘The Last Supper’ its place in the history books. After just one day, you’ll find your relationship to Milan forever changed for the better.

Our guide, Caterina, was amazing. She was supposed to have a group of 20, but another guide had an emergency on the morning we took the tour so she wound up with about 40 of us. She managed it all very calmly and professionally, and was very knowledgeable and informative. Five stars to her. The walking tour and tour of the Milan Cathedral was very interesting and the city is fascinating. The Last Supper is amazing!

We loved our tour guide, Barbara. She was so knowledgeable, patient, engaging and funny. Her English was Excellent. We learned so much that we would have never learned without her. She made us laugh dozens of times and made our quick trip from Chicago to Milan all the more special. Having the fast pass into the Duomo was great and getting to the Last Supper and knowing exactly where to go and what to expect was priceless. We highly recommend this tour.

It was a frustrating experience before it even started as they kept changing the start time of the tour.(some in the group were not even told about the time change) The guide did not know our Last Supper time had been changed to the beginning of our tour and we missed our time slot to view the painting. Fortunately, they allowed a couple of us in every 15 minutes to view the painting but our guide could not go in with us to explain all the details of the painting. Also, she gave us confusing directions to get back to the Duomo

Caterina was a great guide who shared much information about the main sites and additional info as we were walking through town; she was very personable and genuine. There was a lot of walking at a very fast pace; it's a shame we didn't have more time to spend at some of the interesting places in between the really famous ones, but we definitely saw the main things!

Unfortunately our guide cancelled at the last minute and we were combined with another group. Our maximum was supposed to be 14 but we had 33 people, resulting in a less than satisfactory experience. Our guide Katerina was excellent and handled the change professionally, however we were very rushed and feel we missed out on the intimacy of a smaller group.

I paid $214 to spend 15 minutes in the last supper. When I click get my tickets it gave me two options to pick them up so i pick the last supper no one showed up there until 4:00 at 4:15 we went inside and 4:30 it was done. The lady told me that although I miss the Duomo it was worth it wow no consideration or apology for their miss-communication. In their instructions they should include a time line of how the day is distributed. Also if you buy the tickets on your own for the duomo is 20 euro and for the last supper 15.
