Omg where do I start? Was brilliant from start to finish, our guide was amazing and knowledgeable. The sights was breathtaking. Everything was as planned all through from the hotel pick up To the drop off. About a 2 hours stay in St Mortitz which was plenty of time and the train was spectacular. Long travel time was exhausted, but well worth the rime and money

We enjoyed the narration of the guide on the scenic drive up to St Moritz. We were surprised to find so much closed upon our arrival…just not understanding that we were here in the wrong season. So there was like no choice for a lunch restaurant. The Bernina train was fabulous!!! We so enjoyed the scenery and must have over 300 photos. The stop for 20 minutes in Tirano was a complete waste of time. Perhaps if we had gotten on the bus sooner we could have avoided the accident that shut down traffic for an extra 2.5 hours. Certainly no one’s fault but boy were we exhausted. Our guide also promised to show a few of us the taxi stand and she didnt … for me i was rather frightened about finding a cab…

The guide was knowledgeable and friendly. The bus was comfortable but the ride very long on the bus. The train ride was fun.

The pickup at our hotel was perfect but it was a very long day that could be done in half the time for half the price. Also, they rushed everyone to the coach in St Mortiz so much that people were out of breath!

Best feature was the Train, but the bus ride and organizaation was not good

The Train Ride was wonderful. However, we did not have time to do much and felt rushed in St Moritz. In addition, it was Sunday so almost everything was closed. I was looking forward to buying the advertised chocolate and we did not get to purchase that. I booked the tour that had hotel pick up and that did not start very well. They told me 6am pick up and then by 630am no one had picked us up. I called and they said they had sent me a message that driver was sick and couldn't pick us up. We had no such message from the Tour Operator. In addition, they told me to take a Taxi, yet the Taxi workers were all on strike since 2 days before and they didn't even know that. We had to find an uber at last minute and almost lost the tour. Never received any apology nor any follow up on the fact we didn't get picked up from the hotel as agreed, and that we paid extra for that tour. Never even got reimbursed. Worse of all, we did not book the one that had multiple stops, however somehow that's what happened. We had 2 additional stops from the pick up point which is why in my opinion we were rushed in St Moritz and were not able to see everything promised on the 'What to Expect'. These 2 additional stops for pick up and for drop off took time away from our tour. It was definitely not expected. It also made a long day even longer. So the whole experience was terrible, and it took away from the amazing train ride.

Boarding the Bernina Express @ Tirano and the trip to St Moritz.Our guide was excellent for giving you just what you need to know without rambling on.Friendly and approachable.The train itself is an engineering marvel.The trip is worth every cent.

Beautiful holiday experience to reminisce

stunning views of the swiss alps, pristine lakes including frozen lakes, the vast swiss settlements all in a 2.5 hour red train ride from St. Moritz to Tirano. Thank Tour director Marco and driver Donatello for the tour coordination and safe bus journey.

Everything about this trip was lovely. Very well organized I enjoyed the tour director. The history and information she provided was excellent. The scenery was beyond any expectation I had. I highly recommend it!

Bad experience

The hotel shuttle driver picked us up at 6am, he dropped us off at 6:15 and said the next bus comes at 7:30. The tour guide was unprepared, wasted time getting headsets working so took away from tour time. Bus driver did not know how to turn on USB ports and we did not have wifi as advertised.

The Swiss Alps are very impressive. Taking the Bernina train through the alps was a highlight. The tour itself I didn’t find to be all that attractive. I found the sights to be more enjoyable.

It was a tiring but super worth it tour. I just wished there was an overnight option for this tour. But overall, it was worth the time and money spent. Will so it again in winter!

Scenery was beautiful. Would not recommend the coordinated lunch. Plenty of better restaurants nearby. A little tight on time to explore, but overall awesome trip and great guide.

It was absolutely breathtaking experience. It is a long day so be ready for it. The tour encouraged you to eat at a selected restaurant for 16 ero. Don’t do it. The food absolutely sucks. I so wished I didn’t waste my money or time with bland food Not enough time in Switzerland but the train ride is worth the purchase
Too little time in St. Moritz

This tour should be reorganized to include an over-night stay at a hotel in St. Moritz. One hour is not enough time to enjoy the wonderful sights once you arrive in SM. Additionally, I thought the "suggestion " by Viaggi TOurs to eat in Tirano at a local restaurant was a total rip-off! Thye seved paper thin slivers of bresciola salami with a few drops of olive oil as an appetizer and then served a a plate of pasta with plain red spaghetti sauce. The meal was topped off with a half carafe of horrible red wine known as, I kid you not, Inferno wine! It could have doubled as vinegar!. Horrible. Shame on them for charging 16 euros per person for this rubbish! You could have enjoyed a less expensive meal elsewhere in the town. Also the tour guide "Ada" 's english was unintelligible as her accent was too strong.

Antonella and Eddy were amazing tour guides! They pointed out sights to check out on the way to Tirano and gave us a lot of information about the region we were travelling through on the way to Tirano to take the Bernina Express train. The train ride itself was breathtaking, it's definitely a can't miss experience. Well worth it.

I was disappointed. First the bus that took us to Tirano was old and seats were hard as a rock . The train experience was good . Nice scenery and comfortable. In Saint Moritz we had no time to do anything. 45 minutes to go downtown and come back , so we spent all that time walking back and forth and had time for nothing except bathroom. Also disappointed that we came back by bus all the way to Milan , almost 4 hours in that horrible bus . I gave this trip a “very good” just because of the nice landscaping across the Alps.

The tour itself was fantastic. Tour guide was knowledgeable, informative, well organised and friendly. She was very professional. The Swiss Alps and stops along the way we’re great. However, bus driver was terrible. Slept at most stops on the way there, slumped over the wheel when driving, drifting over the road, attracting the ire of many other road users. He was obviously sick or Very tired. Either way he shouldn’t have been driving. Based on bus driver alone, would NOT use Zani Viaggi tours again!!!!

It took 2 hours by bus to the train, another hour 1/2 to St. Moritz, most stores were closed, had only time for a coffee just an hour there, and along bus tour back to Milan. NEVER AGAIN. Figure about 8 hours. Finally, we were not dropped off att our hotel...on our own.

Train ride was very nice. Tour guide was good but not exceptional. Only problem was, the tour did not match the description. Hotel pick up took us to a corner where we waited for the bus. That spot ended up being walking distance from our hotel.
