Very informative and fun. Our guide and driver Dylan, picked us us right on time. Which never happens in Jamacia The tour of Montego Bay was great and then on to Rose Hall which was fun. You can go to a cool bar in basement of the plantation. The luminous lagoon was close by and is a must see. The 25 for photos is a bit excessive but as we had the boat to ourselves we didnt mind. Recommend this tour highly.
Extremely knowledgeable tour guide, Tony, took us to see the sights of Montego Bay, including shopping and a stop at Scotchies.
Enjoyed the Rose Hall tour, then to Falmouth for luminous lagoon. Again, very knowledgeable guide to explain the luminous concept. Certainly worth seeing on your Jamaica trip.
The Rose Hall Tour and Luminous Lagoon Tours were amazing. The only small disappointing thing was it was in the dark, and it would have been nice to see the scenery there and back. Next time we will arrange another tour to see what we missed.
From start to finish it and #39;s was a perfect evening. Our guide Leo was on time, clean , polite and well informed. He let us ask questions and helped us navigate every stop! So important when you are traveling. Do not miss the opportunity to enjoy and learn on the tour. Thank you Leo
Our tour guide Orlando was AMAZING! He was very welcoming, warm and had a vast knowledge of the island and the history. I found the luminous lagoon boring but thoroughly enjoyed the Rosehill and Montego Bay highlights tour.
At first we were slightly concerned because my wife and I the only two on the trip but our driver was fun and knowledgeable. Rose hall was SOOO much fun. They even had some actors dressed up and live acting some of the scenes. The lagoon is nothing short of breathtaking. Overall amazing!
Tony Montana our tour guide was the best. He took the great pride in his job and country. We had a blast! Definitely happy we booked this tour.
The house was fantastic we took the night tour .the guide was fantastic the actors and freights were brilliant .our best excursion .The lagoon was special we jumped in and the creatures lit up a very weird experience overall loved this tour .highly recommended.
We did the evening tour and when we arrived there were big groups of people arriving and we had a small wait. Our tour guide, Curley, was animated, funny and made the tour great. Not to give anything away but I was spooked a couple times but good for families with teenage children or older. I would recommend this to friends and family
Our driver Michael was fantastic...very friendly and accommodating. As there were only four of us on the tour, he customized it to our needs and gave us the time we required at each location. Favorite part of the tour was the Luminous Lagoon!
Our tour guide Tony was very knowledgeable and witty. He made sure all the tourist had a wonderful, and exciting time, the van was very neat and clean, and comfortable.....thank you.
My wife and myself had a really great time on this trip ,the fact that it was a private tour made it better and our driver Sydney yes that is the correct spelling was both very informative and funny
We had the tour of mo'bay first then on to the lagoon this was amazing you have to see it to believe it.
On to the great house and white witch, the staff involved have worked well to create this,it is a interactive tour so expect the unexpected, overall agreat tour..
Amazing tour, great value. Luminous lagoon was breathtaking. Rose Hall was fantastic fun, the staff put so much effort in to making the experience very enjoyable. Definitely worth going.
We had a great time on this tour! Our driver arrived at our resort right on time and we shared a shuttle bus with a family of 4. Our guide had a great sense of humor and ensured that everyone was having a good time. He started by driving us through the hills of Montego Bay to see the wealthier side of the city, and then we drove to a gift shop. The shopping experience for me was the worst part of the trip. The gift shop was huge, but it was basically all of the same items that you'll see in every other shop on the island, but with marked up prices and there was an added 15 in tax at the end which I didn't pay anywhere else. Fortunately, the shopping part was only 30 minutes because they basically only let you go in 1 store. The driver then took us over to the bay where we had a complimentary rum punch and then took a short boat ride to the Lagoon. The glowing water was amazing, but I'd suggest bringing a bag with some water shoes and a towel if you plan to swim the ground is very murky. After drying off, we drove over to the Rose Hall Great House. By this point it was getting late and was very dark. One thing we did not know was that on top of the natural creepiness of the place, they actually have actors dressed as ghosts there to scare you. There was a small child on our tour who was terrified, so this is one thing that might have been good to know. Personally, I love haunted places and I thought this tour was actually the best part of our excursion. All in all, we had a great time and it was fun to get away from the hotel and see Jamaica.
I thought it was going to be a larger tour but to my surprise it was a private tour we had a wonderful tour guide named Junior that made the whole experience that much greater!
The driver showed up timely and gave us a very good city tour, including a stop at the local school, a drive through residential areas, and a stop to try sugar cane. Glistening Waters was nothing short of beautiful. Rose Hall was impressive but cheesy presentation. Overall, well worth the cost.
Overall quite enjoyable. Driver was not very enthusiastic or informative during tour. Trip through Montego Bay was quick and not very informative. We went up and down three or four streets before going to a touristy souvenir shop to constitute the Montego Bay tour. Would've preferred more time in city. Rose Hall was very interesting. Arrived too early, so we had about 30 minutes before tour started however, the mansion was very unique. The Luminous Lagoon was very cool, too, though I wish I would've brought a swimsuit to get into the water.
The content of this tour is very worthwhile the mechanics needs some restructuring. We were told to be in the lobby of our Montego Bay hotel at 4:30 pickup worked well. The tour was supposed to be broken down into 3 parts: a tour of historic Montego Bay with time for dinner, a ghost tour of Rose Hall, finishing with a trip into the Luminous Lagoon. By the time we retrieved the last members of the tour and headed into Montego Bay, it was 6-6:30, there was no time for dinner, the city was congested with traffic and it felt like a total waste of time. Some people hadn't eaten since 12:30pick up in Negril we hadn't eaten since 2:30. Had we known, we would have made different preparations and brought food with us. The ghost tours start on the hour so then we drive towards Rose Hall, another 20 minutes in the other direction. This is where the tour starts to get good: Rose Hall at night, is great! The crew has staged it very well and made it informative, fun and a bit scary. The Luminous Bay is a don't miss we did not swim and it was still fascinating and beautiful. We finally arrived back at our hotel at 10:30 and of course the buffet was closed. I would do it again but would love for the tour creators to rethink the pickup schedule and timing.
Everything was nice other than we arrive early for the Rose Hall Tour and had to wait and we arrived late for the Luminous Lagoon. The Rose Hall is a must do while in Jamaica. Nevada was a great tour guide.
Rose hall was lovely but the ghost tour part is a little silly. The Luminous Lagoon night cruise isn't awesome, but the luminous lagoon is worth seeing. We jumped in and got to see the particles light up around us so that was pretty cool.
We had a great time at Rose Hall.. it was informative and very entertaining.. make sure you go in the evening for the full effect/experience .. Driving around Montego Bay was interesting to see.. The Luminous Lagoon night cruise was a great photo opportunity.. and the tour is fast.. so you don't need to worry.. Our driver was a good guy .. funny and easy going... If I had any recommendations.. I'd say , It should have started later in the day.. because we had to kill a lot of time in Montego Bay for the sun to set and create the necessary darkness for Rose Hall and the Lagoon..
The tour was great. My friend and I happened to be the only ones to book this tour that day so it was a private tour no complaints!. The driver was local to the area and gave us a lot of information about what we were seeing. Montego Bay was very interesting to drive around and we stopped at a lovely old church to have a look. Next we went to Luminous Lagoon - so amazing, I would go back in a heartbeat. Take your water shoes, the bottom is silty and feels like you are standing in peanut butter. Our last stop was Rose Hall. At night the guides at Rose Hall do a spook tour, which we were unaware of and could have done without. Rose Hall is beautiful and I would have preferred to learn more about the history without the actors and dim lighting.
In all, going to the three places made for a busy day but it was a lot of fun.
Side note: Get water shoes or bring old runners if you are doing excursions. On a different tour, our bus stopped at a shop on the way to Dunn's River Falls so we could get water shoes not expensive and we ended up using them the whole trip.
