We had just a driver in our group of 2 to take us to Dunn's Falls. He was the best. Thank you.
This tour was worth the cost, especially since a Jamaican lunch comes with it...I will use this company to book my excursions in the future! Thank you
There was a lot of confusion about what bus to get on and when it would arrive to pick us up. The bus ride lasted 2-1/2 hours instead of the expected 1-1/2 hour trip we expected. The water fall climb was great and lunch was good. Great value and a wonderful time.
Great tour! Our driver Elvis got us to our location safe and sound. His companion was very sweet as well. After climbing the river we ended the tour with a jerk chicken lunch that was delicious. Thanks for the experience.
This was one of the top 20 days of my life because I got to do the Dunn's River Falls with one of my grandchildren and I could tell from the look on his face that he thoroughly enjoyed it. Pringle the driver of the van that took us was very knowledgeable about Jamaica and was very entertaining on the ride over and back.
This is what I didn't like: there was no one standing outside the compound holding up a sign identifying your company. It took just a little bit over an hour of trying to find my bus. Even then it was the bus driver that walked over and asked my name. We asked 4 different people that were helping tour people where we had to go and no one had ever heard of Viator! This is what should have been said on the directions: Go through the terminal and out the door, cross the road, the island and tihe other road, turn right and approach the big blue bus that is parked there. Get on that bus and they will take you out of the compound where you will have to get off of that bus and into a van that will take you the rest of the way.
I really enjoyed this Excursion but I didn't need the anxiety of finding the correct place to report to.
Our tour was, everything we wanted and more. Our tour driver(Elvis) was AWESOME. He did everything, to make sure we had the best time. Once we got to the falls, it just got better and better. Beautiful views, combined with a challenging, refreshing, fun climb. I would definitely recommend it.
A little confusion at first regarding where/what bus we were to take. Spent to much time at the verity store. Other than that, everything was great.
My experience was wonderful. The driver/tour guide were great. The tour guide gave us history on different landmarks as we went along. She explained everything we were about to do once we got to Dunn's River Falls. Our lunch was fantastic.
We booked this as an excursion on a cruise. It was perfect. We LOVED the hike. It was a bit of a drive but well worth it and we all got a nap in! My struggle is always what to tip! Keep the cash handy!
Still can't believe we got this tour for this price. Great deal! Basically, we had a taxi ride from the port to the falls of about 90 minutes. We were nearly the first to arrive at the falls and had to wait a few minutes for other people to show up so we could go as part of a group.
The falls were a great experience and highly recommended. No problem taking photos. I wore close toed sandals and they were fine.
Afterwards, we stopped for lunch of jerk chicken and other tasty local foods with a drink. Then back to Montego Bay. Driver offered to stop for shopping but we said no.

I highly recommend this tour. With all of the activities can be done here in Zjsmaica. This is definitely on the top of the list. The driver and tour guide where very nice and our tour guide was not only beautiful, she described various tourist attractions that where along the way to the falls.
Marcia was a great guide. She told us about everything we passed on the drive, she also gave us insight to the Jamaican lifestyle. At the falls she told us exactly where to go and what to do. She was waiting for us when we got out of the beautiful falls. Made sure we had lunch and was very helpful.
Enjoyed the shore excursion and really liked our tour guide. She was funny, informative and friendly.
Great tour. Falls we're crowded but still fun. We were running a little late so our tour guide arranged for us to get our lunch to go. They brought it out to the van for us! Great!
The Falls are definitely a must see. It was extremely crowded when we were there as there were 6 cruise ships in port but still they were very organized and made it fun. Remember to bring your own water shoes that is best but you could buy some decent ones there on site for just $10 and were souvenir color of Jamaica. Transportation was great, personal person brought us and stopped for lunch, they were slow on getting us lunch but it was excellent jerk chicken. Great value this tour was especially compared to what the cruise wanted!
It was an amazing experience. Our tour guide Melanie and our driver were very nice and very professional. Melanie was very informative about Jamaica, its history and all the very interesting information about the country. The climb of the Dunns river falls was an experience of a life time. I will do it again if I have another chance. We all love it. The guides were all nice. I will recommend VIATOR to all our friends.
A very nice trip, but bear in mind it's a long way to Ocho Rios 2 hours each way, so a lot of driving.
Excellent driver Clive, very informative, plenty of time at Dunn's River Falls, very good jerk meal at our lunch stop, did include a beer or juice. A stop at one of the Great houses went right past Rose Great House would have added to the trip and would not have made the tour much longer, but it would then have covered one additional worthwhile attraction.
Enjoyed tour guide and experience of Dunn's River falls. Shopping was very limited and items were over priced. You have to bargain to get the best deal. I would have liked to have time to visit more than one shop.

The Falls is amazing and a must do on your Jamaica tour. This particular excursion vendor is good enough. They wait for you if your ship is late or if you provided the ship time instead of local time. They are always concerned about taking you back to the ship due to which there were no stops other than the falls and a lunch break. They stop you at a local store to purchase any water shoes if you dont have one. That was a waste of time since the same shoes were available at the same cost at the falls entrance. The girl guide on the bus was okay. She does not have a mic so everyone needs to sit up close to the front to listen to her.
Cruise terminal was chaos - took a while to find our driver. Driver promptly informs us that hes going to put us in another car because he has other people to pick up. Just outside the gate, the he pulls over and our car turned out to be a Toyota Yaris driven by an older gentlemen. Seemed odd, but we went with it. The driver was nice enough, provided some interesting information about Jamaica, the region, and its history. Good conversation both to and from the falls.
The falls are awesome but be prepared to be herded into groups by the guides and videographers. Their mission is to sell you a 40 DVD of your experience, photos, etc. and of course, tip them generously at the end of the climb. If you need help performing moderate activities, then they are probably your best option. Personally, I prefer to enjoy the climb alone and not being coerced into stopping every five minutes for a photo opportunity. If you have any doubts, you can always start out with the group and break off on your own if/when you wish.
Our driver gave us as much time as we wanted at the falls while waiting in the parking lot. We wound up spending about 1.5 hours there - one climb up the falls and then back down the path to the beach for a bit. On the way back, we stopped and had some Jerk chicken for lunch, there were a couple of side items but I dont recall what they were. It was all very tasty though and there was plenty. The remainder of the trip back to Mo Bay was pleasant enough but once we got near the airport, traffic was heavy all the way to the cruise terminal. Fortunately, we had plenty of time and it wasnt an issue. That last stretch, about 8 km, took 45 minutes to an hour so keep that in mind if you have a ship to catch.
This is an enjoyable excursion and a good value. Five stars had it not been for the aggressive vendors and guides at the falls. Ya mon!
This tour was an overall worthwhile tour picked up promptly it was hour + drive to Falls. Tour guide was very informative during drive and stopped off water shoes/camera covers. Overall pretty good tour climbing Dunns Falls pretty difficult so be prepared.
The tansportion ws exceptional, there were only 3 of us in a full size van. As for the Fallss, way too crowded, and rushed through. I am glad we did it as it was on my bucket listf, but I won't be back to Jamaica again.
