The Blue Mountains, Jamaica
Be ready for adventure at 7am, when you'll be picked up from your Montego Bay hotel in a private tour vehicle. Meet your dedicated guide and climb in, then head out for the north coast. This tour can accommodate up to four people.
Once you reach Buff Bay, you'll make your way up into the mountains, passing through small villages until you reach an altitude of about 5,000 feet (1,524 meters). Climb out, stretch your legs, and gear up for your ride with a traditional Jamaican breakfast of ackee and saltfish, steamed cabbage, fried dumplings; wash it down with some famous Blue Mountain coffee.
Continue up to 6,000 feet (1,828 meters), the starting point for your bike ride. Saddle up, buckle your helmet, and follow your guide down the mostly downhill 12-mile (19-km) stretch of jungle trail. Along the way, you'll stop for photo ops, a visit to a coffee plantation, and a dip in a mountainside waterfall called Mountain Dew.
Collapse into the back of the tour vehicle after 11 hours of adventure; you'll be dropped off back at your Montego Bay hotel.
